Ever since we initially went into lockdown way back in March 2020, ITV daytime show This Morning has graced the airwaves with its fun competition 'Spin To Win', which sees lucky callers win a sum of money and some money-can't-buy prices.

Every so often the popular feature brings with it some memorable moments, whether those be for blunders, hilarious callers, or emotional scenes.

Well, today's episode (Tuesday 6th July) served up just that, in the form of a lovely lady from Newcastle!

The caller, who won a tasty £2000 when host Phillip Schofield spun the wheel, swiftly asked Holly and Phil if she could donate £500 of her winnings to Parkinson's UK, and another £500 to be donated to The Lewy Body Dementia Society.

Thankful for her donations, This Morning bosses were quick to reveal they would add an extra £1000 onto her winnings, in order to allow the generous lady to enjoy the cash for herself also.

After witnessing the moment on TV, viewers of This Morning were quick to comment on the post, with many admitting the caller's generosity made them emotional.

One wrote: 'A lot more emotional than I was expecting from spin to win', with another adding: 'People like this ❤️❤️❤️'. Another wrote: 'Oh bless and now I'm crying!', with a fourth writing: ' What a wonderful lady Heart suit Sending you much love xxx'. (sic)

Another commented: 'This morning can I say what a lovely, kind hearted thing to do ! To donate a further £1000 on top of the £2000 win for the lovely lady to donate for her chosen charities well done guys'. (sic)
