Fans of the show The Cube will be pleased to hear that the release date and celebrities taking part in the Christmas special have officially been announced. 🎄Yes, you heard us right, The Cube Christmas special is officially happening, there are pictures out and everything!

This Christmas host Philip Schofield will be joined by Diversity stars Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, and Lorraine Kelly and her daughter Rosie. Both sets of celebs will take on a series of physical and mental challenges, competing to win a quarter of a million pounds for their chosen charity.

The show will take place on Thursday 23rd of December between 9.00pm - 10.15pm (yep, that's right - Christmas Eve Eve).

Those familiar with the show will know beating the titular cube will be a challenge indeed, and both teams will definitely have their work cut out for them. The show sees contestants face a series of physical and mental challenges, all to win money. This Christmas special will see all money donated to a charity of the celebrities' choice, bringing a nice festive twist to the usual formula.

Will Jordan and Perri's dance abilities give them the edge in the physical challenges? Or will national treasure Lorraine prove once again immense talent? I guess we'll just have to wait until the 23rd to find out for ourselves.

This will be a great way to get the Christmas cheer going the day before Christmas Eve - We can practically taste the Mulled wine already 🍷. The show starts at 9.00 pm on Thursday 23rd December, so go on and mark it on your advent calendar why don't you?
