Quiz show The Chase has become an integral part of daytime TV since it first hit our screens way back in 2009, and now the popular show is expanding!

As well as Beat the Chasers, bosses have now confirmed a brand new and exclusive spin-off show called The Chase EXTRA, which will air on the ITV Hub.

Hosted by The Chasers themselves, the new instalment will see the brains of Britain setting 10 quiz questions and answers for fans, every Monday for six weeks.

The new show will begin on Monday 8th March, with Mark ‘The Beast Labbett’, Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty, Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha, Jenny ‘The Vixen’ Ryan, Shaun ‘The Dark Destroyer’ Wallace and Darragh ‘The Menace’ Ennis all presenting one episode each.

As if this wasn't enough, each Chaser will also give their very own 'unique interval', which involves them telling jokes, giving quizzing tips, and even playing musical instruments!

In addition to the new spin-off, episodes of the original show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, continue to air on ITV every weekday.

There's no denying the show has gained popularity over the years, with The Chase recording its best ever viewing figures in 2020. Following the introduction of brand new Chaser Darragh Ennis, The Chase scored its largest audience in November, with a massive 5.1 million people tuning in.

The Chase EXTRA will be available to watch on the ITV Hub from Monday 8th March.
