One of the most iconic 'dancers' of the 80s is undoubtedly Bez, AKA the on-stage dancers and percussionist from much-loved Manchester musical legends Happy Mondays.

Bez, whose real name is Mark Berry, cut his reality TV teeth in Celebrity Big Brother winning the series in 2005 against Jackie Stallone, Lisa I'Anson and John McCririck. But it's his recent appearance in Bargain Hunt that has apparently whetted Strictly bosses' appetites.

Bez was caught cheating on Bargain Hunt after his girlfriend bid on his antiques, something he says was an "honest mistake". But rather than putting off Strictly bigwigs, it's made them keen to get the freaky dancer in again.

"The Bargain Hunt cheating scandal was talked about everywhere, even Gogglebox. If anything, it made the show. Everyone knows Bez would be a ratings hit on Strictly," a source told The Mirror.

Alan Carr

Alan Carr was tipped to have signed up for 2019's series after a memorable appearance at the final to read out the terms and conditions. He couldn't stop dancing, with the whole Strictly family eventually joining in with his infectious jiving.

Chris Evans

The radio personality confirmed live on his Radio 2 show that he had signed up to Strictly 2019. "I have said yes, primarily because my wife would like to go every week," he said.

Vogue Williams

DJ, model and mum-of-one Vogue is rumoured to be joining the line up for 2019.
A source said, "Vogue has all the credentials to be on Strictly and is mates with someone in the casting department. It looks as though 2019 will be her time."

Bez from Happy Mondays

Manchester dancing legend Bez of Happy Mondays is said to be in the running after his cheating on Bargain Hunt was the talk of the show.

Model and TV presenter Vogue Williams is also hotly tipped to take part in Strictly Come Dancing 2019. After former Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews proposed to her at a screening of The Lion King in 2018, the couple went on to get married and later welcomed a baby boy called Theodore into the world.

A source said, "Vogue has all the credentials to be on Strictly and is mates with someone in the casting department. It looks as though 2019 will be her time."

If Vogue were to land a spot on the show, this wouldn't be the first reality show she's taken part in. Vogue was a contestant on Channel 4 show The Jump in 2017, where she met her husband Spencer Matthews.
