Music star Naughty Boy certainly hasn't enjoyed his first few days on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. Alongside the likes of Richard Madeley, Dame Arlene Phillips, Danny Miller and David Ginola, Naughty Boy has been forced to live in The Clink, whilst playing servant to the Main Camp above them.

However, as viewers witnessed during last night's show, things all got a bit much for the 'La La La' hitmaker, after losing out on not one, but two trials.

Admitting to his camp mates that he wanted to leave and believed his journey was up, Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, said: "I do think my time here is done. I had a feeling earlier and I was thinking about mum and obviously I love you guys – I don’t think after knowing what the Main Camp probably knew what they were putting me through knowing I did the challenge earlier – I don’t know if I could ever join that camp."

After Good Morning Britain presenter Richard attempted to change his mind, the 36-year-old said: "I’ve tried my best both times today. I just can’t go from here into that Main Camp… I can’t fake that. I’m sorry. One thing I’ll tell you before you guys go into the Main Camp, as much as they say they love us, they love you… there is no love. When you guys go to the Main Camp, they’re the reason why I left."

Despite Ant and Dec revealing both Naughty Boy and Arlene had in fact decided to stay and join the Main Camp so they could 'confront' their fellow camp mates, viewers were a little perplexed by the situation, with many taking to Twitter to voice their frustration.

After seeing the comments, Naughty Boy's family, who are in charge of his social media accounts whilst he's inside Gwrych Castle, released a statement urging viewers to 'be kind', revealing he is 'overwhelmed'.

Retweeting a fan's comment about being kind, Naughty Boy's mum wrote: 'This! If only everyone knew what he’s battling on the outside world. His mum (my nan) is battling dementia and he has been taking care of her for the last 5 years. This is the first time he has left her to do something life-changing! He is just overwhelmed and he will be fine.' (sic)

She then added: 'For real, everyone loses their patience from time to time and it’s difficult when he’s in a vulnerable position too. Easy to judge on the outside when he is going through a whirlwind of emotions... we are all rooting for him #ImACeleb'.

'This is my last tweet for tonight! What an emotional episode! It was fun interacting with you all and although it was an emotional episode for us as a family, we know he will come out stronger and he will be fine. Thank you for all the support!! #ImACeleb'.
