It's safe to say certain celebrities get a much tougher ride than others when they sign up for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!, being voted to take part in the gruelling bushtucker trails whilst hosts Ant and Dec watch on with amusement.

Whilst the likes of Helen Flanagan, Gillian McKeith and Paul Burrell have been picked on by the public in the past, this year it looks like former Health Secretary Matt Hancock will be the one voted to chomp on kangaroo anus and crocodile testicles time and time again.

Which bushtucker trials has Matt Hancock done?

The Beastly Burrows

Matt took part in a bushtucker trial alongside Seann Walsh when the pair of them joined the camp as latecomers in the jungle, arriving on Tuesday 8th November with the scenes airing a day later on Wednesday.

Matt and Sean's first trial together saw them face The Beastly Burrows, with the pair crawling through muck and critters in the pitch black, searching for stars. They came back with 6 stars for 11 campmates.

Tentacles of Terror

Surprise, surprise - Matt was then voted for the next bushtucker trial, Tentacles of Terror, which was shown in the episode airing on Thursday 10th Nov. The former Health Secretary climbed into a cage which slowly sank deeper into the water, with Matt having to fetch stars and face various animals as he did so.

His fellow campmates were thrilled when Matt managed to take the full 11 stars back to the camp, with the meal aptly being octopus that evening.

La Cucaracha Cafe

Matt was voted once again to take part in La Cucaracha Cafe in an episode which aired on Friday 11th Nov. It was a two-person trial, seeing Matt take on an eating challenge along with Boy George.

First, he chomped through a fish eye, then a drink of blended meal worms with a witchetty grub garnish, a camel penis, a sheep's vagina and a cow's anus before finally being served cockroaches and blended cockroach dip. The pair ate everything required of them and came back with the full 11 stars!

Who Wants To Look Silly On Air?

Matt was partnered with Owen for Who Wants To Look Silly On Air? - a spin off of... You guessed it, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire? on Saturday 12th Nov.

The pair worked together to answer a series of questions, all while being dumped on with various disgusting substances and eventually won five stars.

House of Horrors

Sunday 13th Nov's episode saw Matt take on his fifth consecutive trial, entering the House of Horrors. The giant doll's house was made up of four rooms, each filled with critters and again, disgusting substances.

After facing pigeons, 2.5 million flies and rummaging through offal, Matt then had to face his fear of snakes in a room full of them - literally coming face to face with one at the end who attempted to bite him. He won nine stars.

Deserted Down Under

Matt's sixth trial, Deserted Down Under, saw the former Health Secretary get buried alive on Monday 14th Nov. The stars were locked on one side, with Matt having to put his hand into 'Hell Holes' and retrieve the keys.

Of course, the 'Hell Holes' were all swarming with critters, and Matt himself was laid down in a chamber surrounded by snakes - winning seven stars.

After news broke on Tuesday 1st November that Matt would be joining the 2022 cast as this year's late arrival, fans of the show were quick to take to Twitter to express their plans, with bookmakers suggesting Matt will break trial records.

One wrote: 'The whole nation on the phone to the I’m a Celeb line to vote Matt Hancock to do every bush tucker trial', with another adding: 'Matt hancock being suspended cos he’s going on i’m a celeb 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 absolutely creased them country’s just gonna make him do every single trial'. (sic)

Another commented: ‘Right we’re obviously making Matt Hancock do absolutely every single trial aren’t we? We can just agree on that as a nation?' (sic)

A fourth wrote: 'I actually think it's gonna be hilarious having Matt Hancock on I'm a celeb! He's gonna get every trial! 😂😂😂 #ImACeleb'.

A fifth added: 'Wait, Matt Hancock is going in I’m a celeb? How on earth am I only just reading this?!!! I have great faith in the British public to vote him for every single bushtucker trial'. (sic)

After rumours broke of Matt's controversial involvement earlier this week, it was later confirmed he'd been suspended as Conservative MP.

Chief Whip Simon Hart MP said: "Following a conversation with Matt Hancock, I have considered the situation and believe this is a matter serious enough to warrant suspension of the whip with immediate effect."

Since the news broke, famous faces in the world of news and politics have had their say on Matt's decision to sign up, with not everybody supportive of his latest venture.

Although Matt won't enter the jungle during Sunday night's launch show, he is expected to arrive into camp as late arrival alongside comedian Seann Walsh, later in the week.
