We are now almost halfway through series two of marmite TV show The Masked Singer, with judges Rita Ora, Davina McCall, Mo Gilligan and Jonathan Ross, as well as viewers at home trying to work out which celebs are behind the amazing costumes.

With the likes of Sophie Ellis Bextor, Mel B, Martine McCutcheon and Glenn Hoddle all being revealed as Alien, Sea Horse, Swan and Grandfather Clock respectively, guesses are really starting to heat up.

Following Saturday night's episode, we saw Bush Baby perform 'Release Me' by Engelbert Humperdinck - in a week where their song choice was yet another clue about their true identity... Spoilers ahead!

Who was Bush Baby on The Masked Singer?

Bush Baby was unmasked as Cold Feet actor John Thomson in Episode 5! Although he was able to evade the judges' guesses, he unfortunately did not make it through to the next round, and viewers were thrilled to see him.

Who else was rumoured to be Bush Baby?

Despite the judges guessing celebs like Jamie Oliver, Matt Lucas, John Thomson and even Mary Berry, viewers at home thought it could be comedian and actor Brian Conley.

One fan wrote on Twitter, 'Brian Conley for bush baby #maskedsingeruk', with another adding, ' Bush baby could be Brian Conley I thinks... #MaskedSingerUK'.

A third then commented, 'Bush Baby is 100% Brian Conley', with another writing, 'I think Bush Baby is Brian Conley. No idea how or if the clues fit, but can hear Brian’s voice coming through when he sings.' (sic)

Bush Baby: Clues on The Masked Singer

We received a number of telling clues for Bush Baby! As well as a hint to magic tricks and drumming, Bush Baby hinted they've worked with both children and animals.

There's also been a lot of foodie references, resulting in the judges guessing the likes of Mary Berry and Jamie Oliver - however, this was actually a nod to John's appearance on Celebrity MasterChef.

And of course, Bush Baby also seemingly threw in some references to ABBA, saying that they "didn't say thank you for the music", and that "the winner takes it all". They also told us that they were a serious actor, reading a book by Chekov - which was a reference to John being a classically trained actor.

WINNER: Sausage - Joss Stone (Episode 8)

Sausage shocked almost everyone when she was unmasked as Joss Stone! Although a few viewers at home had guessed the soul singer, the panel had no clue it was her, leaving a lot of people pretty stunned!

Sang: 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)' by Whitney Houston and 'Rise Up' by Andra Day

Clues: Sausage told us this was the last stop on her tour, adding that although she'd been a sausage the whole time, she was actually entirely plant-based - this was a reference to Joss' animal rights activism. She also joked that she'd won an award that sounds like 'hammy' - a nod to her Grammy Award wins.

Badger - Ne-Yo (Episode 8)

Badger came runner-up on The Masked Singer UK series 2... And was unmasked as US superstar Ne-Yo! Although viewers at home had started to guess him, the panel only clocked on when guest judge Nicola Roberts fangirled over her teenage crush. Rita was left pretty red-faced, as she's known Ne-Yo for a while!

Sang: 'Believer' by Imagine Dragons and 'Wrecking Ball' by Miley Cyrus

Clues: Badger told us they know what it's like to be sat on the panel as a judge (Ne-Yo is a judge on World of Dance), and that this has been their greatest role outside of Hollywood.

Robin - Aston Merrygold (Episode 8)

As many of us had guessed, Robin was unmasked in the final as JLS star Aston Merrygold! After making it all the way to the final, Aston came third as Robin on the show.

Sang: 'For Once in My Life' by Stevie Wonder

Clues: Robin told us that they'd made it to the final of another competition, and hoped he wouldn't make a 'berk' of himself - a nod to JLS making it to The X Factor final in 2008 and missing out to Alexandra Burke. His final clue was that his 'name fits like a glove' - with Merrygold sounding like Marigold.

Dragon - Sue Perkins (Episode 7)

With previous guesses like Carol Vorderman, Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg and Jenny Ryan, viewers were left in shock during Episode 7 when Dragon was unveiled as former Bake Off host Sue Perkins!

Sang: 'Make You Feel My Love' by Adele.

Clues: As well as mentioning Absolutely Fabulous, Dragon revealed her career has put smiles on people's faces, as well as connecting with people all over the world.

Harlequin - Gabrielle (Episode 7)

Harlequin's reveal as British singer Gabrielle was no real surprise during the semi-final in Week 7.

Sang: 'Everything I Wanted' by Billie Eilish and 'Sweet But Psycho' by Ava Max.

Clues: Final clues for Harlequin mentioned the BRIT Awards, the fact she only works three months of the year, and she also revealed somebody she admired once used to do impressions of her (Adele).

Sausage (Episode 7)

Sausage has made it into the final!


Sang: 'Good As Hell' by Lizzo and 'Rise Up' by Andra Day.


Clues: The clues are heating up for Sausage ahead of the final, she's now revealed she's a 'funny girl', and confirmed she's witnessed some special people get married. Another big clue in Episode 7 was a Red Dragon, with many thinking that could be a pointer to Wales and more importantly, Gavin & Stacey.

Badger (Episode 7)

Badger will also perform in the final!


Sang: 'Grease' by Frankie Valli and 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' by Nirvana.


Clues: In the semi-final, Badger revealed his career has been anonymous, as well as mentioning both snow and Christmas music. Badger also confirmed he helps other artists get discovered.

Robin (Episode 7)

Robin is in the final!


Sang: 'Thinking Out Loud' by Ed Sheeran and 'Footloose' by Kenny Loggins.


Clues: Robin revealed his character's chest is red but he's known for being blue, as well as confirming he started at a very young age.

Blob - Sir Lenny Henry (Episode 6)

After lots of guesses from the public and judges, Blob was unmasked in Episode 6 as comedian and actor Sir Lenny Henry!


Sang: 'Addicted to Love' by Robert Palmer.


Clues: Blob told us they love to cook as much as they love to sing, and confirmed they've been on many stages with many different roles.

Viking - Morten Harket (Episode 6)

With Episode 6 being a double elimination, Viking was also unmasked alongside Lenny Henry, as Norwegian vocalist and musician Morten Harket.


Sang: 'The Scientist' by Coldplay.


Clues: Viking told us they've written their own tales and comic books, as well as admitting he's 'swapping my sword for my voice'.

Sausage (Episode 6)

Despite many viewers of The Masked Singer being convinced Sausage is Sheridan Smith, some late guesses are now starting to to make people rethink!


Sang: 'I Will Survive' by Gloria Gaynor.


Clues: Blackpool continues to feature heavily for Sausage's clues, as well as the character telling us she is very lucky to have travelled to see some places around the world, despite admitting that doesn't mean she's done it in style, admitting she doesn't need luxury.

Badger (Episode 6)

Badger continues to show off his amazing vocals, but viewers and the judges are still totally stumped on his identity.


Sang: 'Wrecking Ball' by Miley Cyrus.


Clues: Badger hinted he could have tunnel vision in Episode 6, as well as revealing he's used to being on sets and studios. He also loves to play games.

Robin (Episode 6)

Robin continues to give amazing performances every week, but we are still no closer to finding out his identity!


Sang: 'Closer' by Ne-Yo.


Clues: Robin revealed he's not always been so bright and confident, admitting he likes to use his voice to inspire.


Judges' guesses: Perri Kiely, Adam Lambert, Zayn, Mark Owen.

Dragon (Episode 6)

Dragon is still going in the competition, with many viewers at home now being convinced Shane Jenek AKA Drag Queen Courtney Act is behind the mask!


Sang: 'The Shoop Shoop Song' by Cher.


Clues: Dragon confirmed they love to learn and read books, as well as making reference to 'Food Glorious Food' from Oliver.


Judges' guesses: Carol Vorderman, Oprah Winfrey, Whoopi Goldberg, Jenny Ryan.

Harlequin (Episode 6)

Despite being six episodes in now, Harlequin continues to be a real head-scratcher for viewers and the judges!


Sang: 'Falling' by Harry Styles.


Clues: As well as admitting they once met music legend Price, Harlequin teased they started their career in a man suit, holding cards.


Judges' guesses: Des'ree, Gabrielle Tracy Chapman.

Bush Baby - John Thomson (Episode 5)

Bush Baby performed valiantly throughout the series, but was unmasked in Episode 5 as Cold Feet actor John Thomson! Although none of the judges guessed him in this episode, they did bring his name up in Episode 4. In Episode 5, all characters sang a song that was a clue towards their identity...


Sang: 'Release Me' by Engelbert Humperdinck - this is something he sang on The Fast Show.


Clues: Bush Baby told us they're not known for their good behaviour, but "know how to put on a show" as they opened up a suitcase full of magic tricks. They added that they loved the attention, and could be seen reading a book by Chekov - hinting how John is a classically trained actor.

Blob (Episode 5)

Blob's performance in Episode 5 has viewers pretty convinced that the person behind the mask is in fact Lenny Henry - but the judges have yet to guess him!


Sang: 'Hotel Room Service' by Pitbull (This could be a reference to Lenny's adverts with Premier Inn)


Clues: Blob was back in the school this time (which could be a reference to Lenny's role as a headteacher in 90s TV show Hope and Glory), and told us that they always 'stand up' (possible reference to Lenny's career as a stand-up comic?), adding that laughter can do truly wonderful things - building bridges and breaking barriers. Blob also told us a lesson they learned as a youngster - making yourself the punchline can win over the toughest of crowds.

Sausage (Episode 5)

Sausage really has the judges scratching their heads - but viewers at home are pretty convinced it's Sheridan Smith!


Sang: 'All Around the World' by Lisa Stansfield (Could be a reference to Sheridan's work on cruises)


Clues: Sausage told us that someone once said they look like a horse, and that "it's not the first time you can't see my face in my work".

Viking (Episode 5)

Viking has left a lot of people stumped - but after Episode 5, fans of the show are leaning towards Morten Harket, singer of '80s band A-Ha!


Sang: 'Take On Me' by A-ha (Morten could have been singing his own song!)


Clues: Viking told us that the odds are in their favour, and that over a billion people have watched them do their thing. There was also a reference to pop groups Spandau Ballet and A1 on a map (A1 rose to fame with a cover of 'Take On Me), as Viking told us that steel has proved useful in their career.

Badger (Episode 5)

Badger still has a lot of people stumped over their true identity, but a lot of people have been suggesting US singer Ne-Yo... Could it be?


Sang: 'Because of You' by Kelly Clarkson


Clues: Badger told us that they'd grown up in a large household, with all his family members being very creative. They told us it was their mum who opened them up to their gift when they were very young, adding that there was little room to spare - not even for a mouse in the house. Could that be a reference to The Mickey Mouse Club, where a lot of famous people found their fame?

Dragon (Episode 5)

Dragon has kept the judges guessing each and every week, and fans of the show are now wondering whether it could be Shane Jenek AKA Drag Queen Courtney Act in there! Especially as Courtney recently uploaded a video with a caption that referenced 'Drag on'...


Sang: 'All by Myself' by Celine Dion (This could be a reference to Shane living in London due to the COVID-19 pandemic)


Clues: Dragon told us there was an "air of destiny" in becoming the dragon, as their journey started AND ended with a giant winged costume. They then fought with a soldier who was listening to a pink iPod, and said they were no oath-breaker. They said they've taken some perilous journeys which have led them back to the stage!

Harlequin (Episode 5)

Harlequin has been a real head-scratcher for viewers and the judging panel. But after her performance in Episode 5, everyone has been left wondering whether her song choice was a double bluff... Could it actually be Tracy Chapman behind the mask?


Sang: 'Fast Car' by Tracy Chapman


Clues: Harlequin told us that they enjoy cleaning up, and showed us as much by polishing their trophies. Harlequin told us they're much more likely to be at home than out partying, but that they love a music festival - describing them as "lit" which is a word they've recently learned.


Judges' guesses: Sue Pollard, Grace Jones, Emeli Sande, Des'Ree

Robin (Episode 5)

Robin may have originally led us to believe that they're an athlete, but viewers at home are pretty convinced that Robin is Aston Merrygold from JLS!


Sang: 'Rockin' Robin' by Michael Jackson (Aston sang this on junior Stars In Their Eyes)


Clues: Robin told us we'll need the luck of the Irish to pin the name on them, adding that they might have winds but they don't stray far. Robin told us they focus their energy on things they're good at, and that the simple things in life taste the sweetest - before being handed a biscuit (Aston's nickname was Cookie).

Grandfather Clock - Glenn Hoddle (Episode 4)

Footballing legend Glenn Hoddle was unmasked as Grandfather Clock in Episode 4! After all his sporty clues, he whittled it down further for us in Episode 4, going up against Viking in the bottom two but just missing out on a place in the next round.


Sang: 'You Make Me Feel So Young' by Frank Sinatra and 'Can't Smile Without You' by Barry Manilow


Clues: Grandfather Clock told us about how he was "saving" his real identity, adding that his timekeeping is very important and that his skills have been commentated on. He then showed letters addressed to SN1 2ED - the postcode of Swindon Town Football Club, also showing a postcard from Bulgaria and even admitted he'd "seen the Hand of God" with his "own two eyes". His two lies and one truth were:
1) Never worked in a bank but great at saving
2) A Prime Minister compared our jobs (This was the truth)
3) People always give me stuff they don't like

Harlequin (Episode 4)

Harlequin is still keeping everyone guessing. Despite giving an incredible second performance in Episode 4, the judges and viewers are still stumped over the identity of this songbird.


Sang: 'Smile' by Nat King Cole


Clues: Harlequin told us in her VT that "you'll have to be quick to catch this Harlequin", adding that she is fascinated by stories and loves to read, especially tales of horror and gore. She again stood in front of Chatsworth House in Derbyshire, and told us that she'd "joined another famous story". Her two lies and one truth were:
1) My bodyguard received a lot of attention
2) I get up before the sun
3) I once turned down a prince

Bush Baby (Episode 4)

Bush Baby seems to be a total favourite of viewers, as they sailed through to the next round after their brilliant performance in Episode 4!


Sang: 'A Little Less Conversation' by Elvis Presley vs. JXL


Clues: Bush Baby continued with the foodie references, saying they would be "whipping up a special dish" and even threw in a couple of ABBA references, saying that they "didn't say thank you for the music", and that "the winner takes it all". There was also a hint to magic tricks as well as drumming, and that they've worked with both children and animals.

Viking (Episode 4)

Viking is another character who has us all stumped! They found themselves in the bottom two with Grandfather Clock in Episode 4, but the judges chose to save Viking and so they're through to the next round.


Sang: 'Watermelon Sugar' by Harry Styles


Clues: Viking told us that they live by their instincts, showing us an American flag and adding that they like doing their own thing and breaking the rules. They added that they're "not bound by chains" but that "success can be found when I break something". Their two lies and one truth were:
1) They're a proud owner of a Blue Peter badge
2) Their first hit "dialled M for Murder"
3) Their early career relied on brotherly love

Blob (Episode 4)

The Masked Singer viewers are beginning to hone in on the true identity of Blob, especially after their latest clues in Episode 4!


Sang: 'Word Up!' by Cameo


Clues: Blob told us they are a bit of an academic and commented on their "shape", adding that they are a musician and they've duetted with some amazing artists, some legendary and personal heroes, playing for a top political journalist. They added that they worked with George Michael's producer, and that they've written songs - including a winning anthem. Their two lies and one truth were:
1) They were named after a doctor
2) They're anything but squishy
3) They're related to my sidekick


Judges' guesses: Nile Rodgers, Greg Davies, Frank Skinner, Stephen Fry

Swan - Martine McCutcheon (Episode 3)

Swan kept us all guessing until the very end of Episode 3 - that is, apart from Jonathan Ross, who guessed Martine McCutcheon at the last second! Disguising her voice with an American accent, Martine unfortunately found herself in the bottom two against Sausage. After a sing-off, the judges chose to save Sausage, and Martine was unmasked as the Swan!


Sang: 'I Am What I Am' by Gloria Gaynor and 'Black Velvet' by Alannah Myles.


Clues: In her second clip, Swan told us that she'd had dealings with "more than one president of the USA", and gave two lies and one truth:
1) "I used to be part of a girl band" (TRUTH)
2) "I'm not as grand as my name suggests"
3) "I might be a swan, but I'm also something of a cat woman"


Judges' guesses: Clare Danes, Ashley Roberts, Lily James, Idina Menzel

Sausage (Episode 3)

Sausage gave a powerhouse performance in Episode 3, but was surprisingly in the bottom two against Swan. After an incredible sing-off, the judges chose to save Sausage, and Swan was eliminated. After her clues, most viewers have become convinced that it's Sheridan Smith.


Sang: 'And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going' by Jennifer Hudson and 'Don't Let Go (Love)' by En Vogue


Clues: Sausage told us she was "no-nonsense", showing us two beers and some crisps - leading viewers to the TV show Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps. Her two lies and one truth were:
1) "My hair colour is officially certified by law"
2) "Someone once said I look like a popstar, I sound like a popstar and I am a popstar"
3) "I owe my career to a horse"

Robin (Episode 3)

Robin is keeping us all guessing, but viewers reckon they're closing in on which famous face could be behind THIS mask - although the clues pointed towards a footballing star, viewers are now convinced it could be Olly Murs or Aston Merrygold, who have both played Soccer Aid.


Sang: 'Dance Monkey' by Tones and I


Clues: There was yet another Westlife clue from Robin, this time saying he felt like he was in a "world of his own" during his previous performance. He added that he'd been a sporty child, doing athletics and playing footballer - even admitting he'd represented his country. His two lies and one truth were:
1) "My real name is out of this world"
2) "This Robin's Habitat is more tropical than you think"
3) "I started performing by doing impressions"

Badger (Episode 3)

Badger has completed foxed everyone! The judges are clueless, viewers are totally torn and no-one can seem to make head or tail of who could be behind the mask!


Sang: 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' by Aerosmith


Clues: Badger told us we'd have to "get up extra early to catch" him, admitting that he'd been super shy as a youngster and wrote poems about the girls he'd liked. He added that he'd one day decided to show his friends what he could do, and then he'd blossomed. He finished off by saying his fur is black and white - and we also saw an Australian cork hat, which many thought could be a nod to I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! His two lies and one truth were:
1) "I'm good at dodging furniture"
2) "When working, I'm often found in green"
3) "Strictly speaking, dancing is something I'm well known for"

Dragon (Episode 3)

The judging panel and viewers alike have all fallen head over heels for Dragon! Their performance on Episode 3 was utterly brilliant, and the character has left many scratching their heads over whether they could be a man or a woman.


Sang: 'Reach' by S Club 7


Clues: Dragon told us they could perform in a way they would never normally be able to behind the mask, adding that they can't work out if they're brave or silly. Dragon told us they'd do anything for a dare, and that's what got them started in their career. They met a boyfriend on stage, and performing in the costume hides their 'big belly'. Their two lies and one truth were:
1) "My name is my biggest clue"
2) "I once had an embarrassing incident with a famous shoe"
3) "I know my own IQ backwards"

Sea Horse - Mel B (Episode 2)

Sea Horse went up against Viking in the sing-off in Episode 2, but the audience chose Viking to go through to the next round. She was in the bottom three against Harlequin and Grandfather Clock, but the judges chose to put the other two through to the next round, meaning that we saw her unveiled as Mel B!


Sang: 'Can't Get You Out of My Head' by Kylie Minogue


Clues: Sea Horse told us she was well-known for being on a talk show, that she has a very unique look, she's lots of fun and she's stolen loo roll from a famous person's house (this turned out to be Nelson Mandela).


Judges' guesses: Trisha Goddard, Jessica Ennis-Hill, Mel B, Debbie McGee

Grandfather Clock (Episode 2)

Grandfather Clock was up against Bush Baby in Episode 2's sing-off, and although the audience chose to put Bush Baby through, Grandfather Clock was saved by the judges.


Sang: 'Rock Around the Clock' by Bill Haley & His Comets


Clues: Sport was a huge clue for this character, with the three lions being a big part of his life. We saw football boots, a tennis racket and golf in the VT, and a reference to being a "keeper" on a "big estate". There was also a clue about "extra time" and also that he has grandchildren.

Bush Baby (Episode 2)

Bush Baby went up against Grandfather Clock in Episode 2 - and the audience put them straight through!


Sang: 'Delilah' by Tom Jones


Clues: There was an Australian theme, mentions of a zoo and a reference to being nocturnal. He said he was cheeky, full of mischief and also wore a fez.

Viking (Episode 2)

Viking took us all by surprise with his super sweet vocals in Episode 2. Going up against Grandfather Clock, Viking went straight through to the next round on the audience vote.


Sang: 'Songbird' by Fleetwood Mac


Clues: There were a lot of references to the word King, so many were left wondering whether it could be part of Viking's name, with additional clues about being curious, being explorers and looking for a voice.

Blob (Episode 2)

Blob was a total revelation to viewers of the show, giving an incredible vocal performance in Episode 2! Blob was up against Harlequin and went straight through to the next round on the public vote.


Sang: 'Uptown Funk' by Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars


Clues: There was a big teacher theme going on, with Blob standing in a classroom and saying they'd been known as 'four eyes' - leading many of us to wonder if they're a glasses-wearer. Blob mentioned they wanted to be James Bond or Batman, and admitted they once recorded a demo for Simon Cowell!

Harlequin (Episode 2)

Harlequin burst out with so much confidence in Episode 2, and wowed the audience with her beautiful voice. It wasn't enough for her to go straight through, as the audience chose Blob, but she was saved by the judges and has gone through to the next round.


Sang: 'Diamonds' by Rihanna


Clues: Harlequin described herself as a joker, and there were a lot of references to being in the news a lot. She was filmed in front of Chatsworth House, and added that she once played the male lead in a musical.

Alien - Sophie Ellis Bextor (Episode 1)

Alien was the first celebrity to be unmasked in Episode 1 of series two! After facing off against Robin, Alien was in the bottom three against Swan and Badger - with Alien being unmasked as Sophie Ellis-Bextor!


Sang: 'Don't Start Now' by Dua Lipa


Clues: Alien told us she had "travelled faster than the speed of light", adding that earth looked like a "toy" from outer space and also made mention of "glitter" plus the fact that she'd once been in an "epic battle".


Judges' guesses: Brenda Blethyn, Sophie Dahl, Lily Allen, Hannah Cooper

Badger (Episode 1)

Badger stunned us all with his powerhouse vocals in Episode 1, going up against Sausage in the sing-off. Although he didn't get the public vote, the judges chose to save Badger and he has gone through to the next round.


Sang: 'Feeling Good' by Nina Simone


Clues: He's used to being anonymous, he sees things in a "virtual world" and there were a lot of nods towards motorbikes!

Sausage (Episode 1)

Sausage's sing-off with Badger in Episode 1 definitely worked in her favour, as she was straight through to the next round after her incredible performance!


Sang: 'Skin' by Rag'n'Bone Man


Clues: Sausage told us she was a combination of "a little bit of everything", admitting that although she may look like a tomboy, she's really a girly girl. She called herself a "silly sausage" and added that her performances are "something of a balancing act".


Judges' guesses: Billie Piper, Edwina Currie, Stacey Solomon, Maya Jama

Dragon (Episode 1)

The audience were totally in love with Dragon in Episode 1, and put them straight through to the next round!


Sang: 'You've Got a Friend in Me' by Randy Newman


Clues: Dragon told us they're fire and strength on the outside, but "just want to be loved". They told us that they've "become a big character", and joked that they mustn't "drag on" before adding that they've been known to have a fiery temper.


Judges' guesses: Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Kevin McCloud, Sandi Toksvig

Swan (Episode 1)

Swan's incredible performance in Episode 1 blew us all away, but after going up against Dragon, Swan was in the bottom three. Thankfully, the judges chose to save them, and they went through to the next stage.


Sang: 'That Don't Impress Me Much' by Shania Twain


Clues: Swan stressed that they're a "loyal" person, and added that her career has been "very honoured".


Judges' guesses: Michelle Visage, Ashley Roberts, Ruby Wax, Darcey Bussell

Robin (Episode 1)

Robin was the first to perform on the brand new series of The Masked Singer in Episode 1! The audience fell for their confident performance, and they went straight through.


Sang: 'Can't Stop the Feeling' by Justin Timberlake


Clues: Robin said they're ready to "go the distance", adding that they've been training and now they're "fighting fit", later saying that they've been known to "fly without wings".


Judges' guesses: Bruno Mars, Amir Khan, Dean Gaffney, Joe Wicks
