Love Island's Lucie Donlan teases Tommy Fury romance when he leaves the villa

She's at it again

Love Island viewers weren't best pleased when surfer babe Lucie Donlan seemingly tried to 'steal' Tommy Fury from Molly-Mae Hague last week (twice). And now that Lucie is out of the villa for good, it seems she's still keen on sparking a romance with the boxer when he leaves the show, saying, "never say never" (again).

Following her elimination, Lucie confessed, "Me and Tommy will always be best friends. I’ve had best friends and then dated them and then still been best friends after. I think a lot of girls think it’s odd but I can turn things on and off really easily."

She then continued, "You’ll always have a love for a best friend whether it’s a boy or a girl but at times it can mean different things. I want to see how things go with him and Molly-Mae, I can see he really likes her.

"I’m happy for them. I feel like we’ll see what happens on the outside and how those guys will go but never say never, if we did come to that romantic stage in a few years and me and Tommy were still friends, you never know."

Lucie and Tommy caused quite the stir when he turned Lucie's head away from former beau Joe Garratt, way back when the show began in June. Since then, the pair became 'best friends', and following Joe's exit from the villa, Lucie confessed to Tommy she had romantic feelings for him.

What's your claim to fame? It's probably my brother, Tyson, but I'm my own man and I've said it throughout my whole boxing career. I don't want to be labelled as his little brother.

Unfortunately for the surfer, it seems she may have to wait a while before Tommy becomes available, now that him and Molly-Mae are officially official!
