Despite the 2020 series of Love Island UK being cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic, bosses over in America have been able to get series two of the show to go ahead, with some BRAND NEW Islanders heading into fancy villa in Las Vegas.

The show, which will air on ITV2, lands on UK TV screens TONIGHT (Monday 7th September), after the first 11 Islanders were revealed last month.

Although the American version of the popular dating show is going ahead, it won't be without some major format changes due to ongoing Coronavirus pandemic.

Unlike series one of Love Island USA which was filmed out in Fiji, this year's Islanders will be in a 'bubble' at the top of The Cromwell hotel in Las Vegas, with strict social distancing rules expected to be in place.

All Islanders lined-up for the new series will also go through a quarantine process before entering the villa, as well as when they leave the villa.

Just like the UK series, the premise of the show is to find love with a fellow Islander in an attempt to win a prize of $50,000 in the final.

Host of Love Island USA, Arielle Vandenberg.

Paul Mortimer, ITV’s Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions said, "We’re thrilled that ITV2 can bring the latest US version of Love Island to viewers this year.

"Las Vegas may seem like an odd destination for the show but the canny producers have beaten Covid with a show that adheres to all production protocols and that could well be sensational.

"Certainly the ‘villa’ is impressive and the cast diverse and amazing."

Love Island USA will air every night on ITV2 from Monday 7th September.
