Love Island fans have high hopes for 'nice guy' Sean and new bombshell Matilda

Sean hasn't had the best of luck so far!

We are now nearly one month in to the 11th series of Love Island, and whilst some of this year's Islanders have been playing the field (Ronnie we are looking at you), sweet salesman Sean Stone hasn't had the best of luck so far...

Despite his attempts, poor Sean has been knocked back a few times by the girls, but it looks like that could all be about to change!

New bombshells Matilda Draper and Konnor Ewudzi entered the villa on Thursday night's show (20th June), and 24-year-old Matilda was quick to pick Sean for a date, leaving the entire villa buzzing to say the least.

After Sean whipped up Matilda's main course for the date, the pair enjoyed flirty chats, before seemingly getting on well later in the episode during the game of 'Suck and Blow'.

After witnessing Sean looking smitten following Matilda's entrance, viewers were quick to express their love for the 24-year-old from Hertford, with many dubbing him such a 'nice guy'.

Many have high hopes for something to materialise between Sean and Matilda, with one saying: 'Finally‼️‼️‼️. Someone for SEAN!!! He’s so charming I really hope she give him a chance! They look so cute together 🥰🥰'. (sic)

Another wrote: 'Honestly love them both together. At first I thought maybe he is doing too much but she seems to like that so I definitely want her to couple up with him. Sean deserves the world and she is such a nice girl. They could defo make it to the end'. (sic)

A third added: 'I want this to work for Sean so bad, he is the sweetest guy in there and deserves to find love. I hope she doesn’t befriend him 😭', with another writing: 'THEY ARE SO CUTE I WANT THEM TO WORK SO BADLY'. (sic)

As viewers were asked to vote for their favourite couples earlier this week, it seems a dumping could be looming over the weekend, with new Islanders Matilda and Konnor expected to choose who they'd like to couple up with.

As well as Sean, Matilda also chose to go on a date with Will and Omar, whilst new boy Konnor chose Grace, Nicole and Mimii.

Check out all of the Love Island rules below:

No getting drunk

According to 2017 contestant Kem Cetinay, contestants are allowed one small glass of wine or beer a night with dinner.
Being drunk's an absolute no-no, so sex while intoxicated is obviously against the rules too.

No masturbating

No solo sex acts are allowed in the villa, though obviously allowed to get jiggy with their partner.

No nudity

Contestants cannot be naked in front of other islanders, since the villa is technically a public space.

No books, phones or magazines

The islanders are given snazzy phones from their sponsor, Samsung (what else would they get their texts on?); but anyone sneaking their own mobile phone into the villa would risk being removed.
Same goes for books and magazines, too.

No inappropriate language or behaviour

This could cover homophobic, racist or aggressive language and is quite the broad rule. Inappropriate behaviour is again at producers' discretion, and would include violence and sexual harassment.

No discriminating against staff

Any Islanders who are rude to crew could run the risk of being booted off the show, and contestants must NOT take their mic packs off unless instructed to.

Follow the rule book

Simple. Contestants must obey the rule book they're provided with; which includes information on safe sex, consent and how to know if you're following the guidelines.

Love Island airs at 9pm every night on ITV2/STV2.
