This year’s dumped Love Island contestants are really spilling the tea when it comes to behind-the-scenes show secrets and we’re LIVING for it. The latest Islander to get in on the action is Northern Irish hunk Matthew McNabb, who was given the boot from the villa when Priya Gopaldas chose to couple up with Brett Staniland.
Like many of his fellow dumpees, Matt’s taken to TikTok to answer questions about his time in the villa and was recently asked by one of his followers to share 'things we didn’t see on the show'.
In the video, the 26-year-old promised to give a 'good one' and boy, did he deliver, as he revealed that it’s not just the alcohol that’s rationed in the villa.
We know that Islanders are subject to a strict two drink limit every night as Eyal Booker previously revealed to Closer: “It was very, very limited. Max two glasses of wine a night and that's max!”
But what we never would have guessed is that it’s also the same case for protein powder as Matt let slip, “Your protein powder is rationed for you for the day.”
Errm, how did we not know this before please?
Matt also revealed another jaw-dropping secret about the villa as he added: “In the toilets, there’s cameras.”

Follow the rule book
Simple. Contestants must obey the rule book they're provided with; which includes information on safe sex, consent and how to know if you're following the guidelines.

No getting drunk
According to 2017 contestant Kem Cetinay, contestants are allowed one small glass of wine or beer a night with dinner. Being drunk's an absolute no-no, so sex while intoxicated is obviously against the rules too.
No masturbating
No solo sex acts are allowed in the villa, though obviously allowed to get jiggy with their partner.
No nudity
Contestants cannot be naked in front of other islanders, since the villa is technically a public space.
No books, phones or magazines
The islanders are given snazzy phones from their sponsor, Samsung (what else would they get their texts on?); but anyone sneaking their own mobile phone into the villa would risk being removed. Same goes for books and magazines, too.
No inappropriate language or behaviour
This could cover homophobic, racist or aggressive language and is quite the broad rule. Inappropriate behaviour is again at producers' discretion, and would include violence and sexual harassment.
No discriminating against staff
Any Islanders who are rude to crew could run the risk of being booted off the show, and contestants must NOT take their mic packs off unless instructed to.

Matt’s not the only dumped Islander spilling villa secrets on social media as Abigail Rawlings recently explained how contestants in the villa tell the time without a clock.
She said: “We could like work out with the moon, but I just went with the flow, embraced it.
“I feel like if we did know the time, it would've f----ed with us, because we were definitely up late on certain nights."
