Scottish lad Jay Younger has been dumped from the Love Island villa

Things always heat up in the villa when Love Island gets a new bombshell, and it was no different when the first Scottish Islander of the 2022 series, Jay Younger joined the other Islanders along with Remi Lambert. Jay got to know several of the girls before ending up in a couple with Chyna Mills after the Casa Amor recoupling, and the pair were dumped from the Island in Monday 11th July's episode.
After viewers votes for the best couple were taken into consideration, Dami Hope and Summer Botwe, and Jay and Chyna were left in the bottom two couples. It was a dramatic episode as the other Islanders were forced to choose one couple to dump from the Island, and after some deliberation, Jay and Chyna were sent home.
Speaking about the whole experience, Jay said it was: "Incredible. An amazing experience and I’m so grateful and feel so lucky to have experienced it," and on leaving the villa he added: "I feel like it was my time."
He also revealed his predictions for who will win Love Island, saying: "I would say Davide and Ekin-Su. They’ve really done well."

Who is Jay Younger?
Jay is one of the bombshells to enter the 2022 villa. He says he entered Love Island as he is: "At the point in my life where it would be quite fun to find someone and have fun along the way. And doing it in Mallorca and in the Villa would be a great opportunity, so why not?"
He added that he plans to "bring a lot of fun" and revealed: "I am very competitive, so I wouldn’t be afraid to go after a girl if I wanted them."
He also revealed the reason he is still single, saying: "I’ve just been very indecisive. I think I am just not one to settle down easily." And he added that his dating history had been: "Very unpredictable."
Touching on what makes him a catch, Jay revealed: "I think I genuinely have what most females want. I’ve got a good job, I think I am a good looking lad and I have a lot of fun so I feel like I could add a lot of value to their lives if they add a lot of value to mine."

Although these two arrived back from Casa Amor coupled with new people, they quickly realised how strong their feelings actually are for each other.

Indiyah also chose to recouple, bringing back new boy Deji. Despite both Dami and Indiyah recoupling, the pair didn't look best pleased with each other.
Danica and Josh
Single girl Danica coupled up with model Josh, bringing him back into the main villa.
Chyna and Jay
Single boy Jay also seemingly found a connection with new girl Chyna.
Luca and Gemma
These two are getting stronger and stronger and once again recoupled.
Ekin-Su and Davide
Despite their explosive row a number of weeks ago, it's been clear that Ekin-Su and Davide still have some chemistry, with Ekin-Su deciding to couple up with the Italian.

Paige and Jacques were reunited after her week with Jay.
