Meet new Love Island boy Jamie Clayton who has his eye on Shaughna 👀

If you've been hooked to the TV every night for this year's Winter edition of Love Island, you're heart has most likely been breaking for Shaughna Phillips, after Callum Jones dumped her in favour of Casa Amor girl Molly Smith.

After Shaughna overheard Callum say he would be the next boy to ask his girl to be official, the 25-year-old appeared heartbroken... that was before the announcement of new boy Jamie Clayton.

At the end of last night's episode, which saw Nas Majeed, Eva Zapico, Rebecca Gormley and Jordan Waobikeze all dumped from the villa, viewers were introduced to 28-year-old Scotsman Jamie, and he's got his eye on both single girls Shaughna and Demi!

With Demi getting rather cosy with Luke M last night, viewers are hoping Shaughna's date with Jamie blossoms into something romantic.

One fan wrote on Twitter, 'Want Paige & Fin to win but also want Siannise & Luke to win but also want Demi & Luke M to win but also want Shaughna to fall in love with Jamie and win #loveisland'. (sic)

Another added, 'Is Jamie Fin’s brother?! 👀 GO ON SHAUGHNA BRING IT HOME #LoveIsland'. (sic) A third then wrote, 'Come on Jamie, sweep Shaughna off her feet #LoveIsland'. sic

Jamie, who is from Edinburgh, is a 28-year-old recruitment consultant, and it sounds like he's got his eye on Shaughna.

He said, "I fancy Demi and Shaughna. Demi talks all the time, she’s out there, gorgeous and bubbly so I like that about her. Shaughna, she’s a good-looking girl and she doesn’t beat around the bush, I like the direct approach."

When describing his ideal woman, Jamie said, "Attraction gets me interested and then it’s the personality that keeps me interested. I tend to go for chatty girls, I need someone who can hold a conversation and have a laugh and someone who I can trust. I want a loyal girl."

Meanwhile, after footballer Finn Tapp asked Lewis Capaldi's ex Paige Turley to be his official girlfriend over the weekend, the pair are now favourites to win the popular reality show.
