We may now be an incredible eight series into ITV2 reality show Love Island, but we think it's safe to say you'd have to dig deep into the cast archives to find an Islander like Turkish actress Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu.

Ekin-Su, who entered the Love Island villa on the third day of the new series, has caused a serious storm with her antics, which have been likened to 2019 Islander Maura Higgins.

As well as so far coupling up with Davide Sanclimenti, Jay Younger and Charlie Radnedge, Ekin-Su has caused major drama with two of the men, as well as getting into disagreements with the likes of Gemma Owen and Amber Beckford.

Now, as it looks like Ekin-Su is keen to revisit her romance with Italian Davide, Love Island viewers are CONVINCED the 27-year-old from Essex is actually a mole who has been planted by producers in order to ramp up the drama.

Fans have taken to Twitter to express their theories. One wrote: 'Ekin su has to have been instructed by producers😭😂 how can someone be this much of a chaos merchant 😭😂😂'. (sic)

Another added: 'I wonder if Ekin Su is a mole, planted by producers purely for drama', with a third writing: 'No one can tell me Ekin su is real I believe she’s a mole planted by the production to cause drama at this point 😭 #Loveisland'. (sic)

A fourth added: 'Is Ekin Su a mole. She’s beating Maura on the mad moves here! Love her. Please British Public , don’t get rid of her! #LoveIsland'. (sic)

Another wrote: 'LMAOOOOO you can’t convince me ekin su is not a paid actor funded by love island producers you just can’t'. (sic)

Others used memes to express their opinions..

Of course, we don't actually know if Ekin-Su is on an undercover mission, but she's certainly serving up the drama every night.

Check out all of the Love Island rules the Islanders must follow in the villa:

No getting drunk

According to 2017 contestant Kem Cetinay, contestants are allowed one small glass of wine or beer a night with dinner.
Being drunk's an absolute no-no, so sex while intoxicated is obviously against the rules too.

No masturbating

No solo sex acts are allowed in the villa, though obviously allowed to get jiggy with their partner.

No nudity

Contestants cannot be naked in front of other islanders, since the villa is technically a public space.

No books, phones or magazines

The islanders are given snazzy phones from their sponsor, Samsung (what else would they get their texts on?); but anyone sneaking their own mobile phone into the villa would risk being removed.
Same goes for books and magazines, too.

No inappropriate language or behaviour

This could cover homophobic, racist or aggressive language and is quite the broad rule. Inappropriate behaviour is again at producers' discretion, and would include violence and sexual harassment.

No discriminating against staff

Any Islanders who are rude to crew could run the risk of being booted off the show, and contestants must NOT take their mic packs off unless instructed to.

Follow the rule book

Simple. Contestants must obey the rule book they're provided with; which includes information on safe sex, consent and how to know if you're following the guidelines.

Meanwhile, as Casa Amor week fast approaches, fans are convinced Ekin-Su could reconnect with Davide, after admitting she's not 100% feeling new boy Charlie.

Despite their furious row a few weeks ago, the chemistry between the pair is clear to see for viewers, with Ekin-Su even admitting she definitely feels something.

Ekin-Su said in the beach hut: "We're talking as friends but there's something... I don't know what it is. There's always something really special with Davide that I can't have with anyone else in here."

We will have to wait and see! 👀

Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2.
