Love Island's Chris Taylor left viewers of the show in tears during last night's (22nd July) episode, after he got emotional, following a dramatic recoupling which saw Michael Griffiths and Francesca Allen dumped from the villa.

His tears came after he, and fellow newbie Harley Brash, were saved by their Islanders after the pair found themselves in the bottom three least popular couples.

Touched by what had happened, Chris started to sob in the bedroom to Curtis Pritchard, after the dancer asked him, "I just wanna check that you are actually alright".

Chris then emotionally replied, "Yeah, I'm fine mate. It's just hard to say without crying. Honestly, I'm fine. It's good tears".

Revealing the reason behind his feelings, Chris confided, "I've never felt like I've ever fitted in," to which Curtis responded "You fit in better than anyone else in the villa".

Fans then took to Twitter to reassure Chris that he was everything and MORE. One user wrote, 'Petition to fly into the villa to give Chris the biggest hug n tell him that he is loved n appreciated😫', whilst another added, 'I love Chris. He has just proven that it isn’t just girls that get self conscious'. sic

A third viewer added, 'Every episode of #LoveIsland I watch, I fall more & more in love with Chris. 😍😩'.

What's your claim to fame? It's probably my brother, Tyson, but I'm my own man and I've said it throughout my whole boxing career. I don't want to be labelled as his little brother.

However, this wasn't the only drama during the show for Chris. During yesterday's challenge, 'Side Bar of Shame', Chris revealed that he believed the tweet, 'Love Island fans convinced blank and blank are meant to be together' was aimed at himself and India, who he previously admitted he liked.

Justifying his actions to Harley, who was disappointed in him, Chris said, "There’s been times when me and India have been chatting and we’ve said the same thing at the same time. Like proper random. We get on ridiculously well because we’re similar.

"Since I’ve been getting to know you I haven’t even given India a second thought".

But Harley disagreed and stormed off, after saying, "I’m not gonna get mugged off. Life’s too short. I’m not gonna do it. My happiness comes before anyone as selfish as that sounds".

Not another couple on the brink of splitting up!
