Love Island shocks fans as contestant is booted off after just 48 hours
It's a Love Island first!

It's safe to say that Love Island 2021 has gotten off to a pretty dramatic start, with one contestant getting the boot from the villa just 48-hours in, becoming the first contestant to leave the show so early on.
Shortly after bombshell Chloe Burrows arrived during last night's episode (Tuesday 29th June), the blonde beauty received a text informing her she had to couple up with one of the boys in the next 24 hours. This, of course, will leave one of the original girls single and home-bound.
As the episode came to an end, tension built as Chloe geared up to reveal who she had picked. But, in true Love Island style, we were left on an abrupt cliffhanger. Viewers will have to wait until tonight to find out which girl has been left flying solo.
The elimination will mark the earliest a contestant has ever left the show, with previous years allowing the stars to have a week of grafting, allowing them to settle in to their new couples. The first dumping has then typically fallen on day six.
Love Island continues every night on ITV2 at 9pm.
