The Love Island 2019 start date has been revealed

ITV2 have taken to their Twitter to officially reveal the date that the infamous Love Island will return. Showing host Caroline Flack floating across a swimming pool, the short video revealed that the show will return on Monday 3rd June.

Yes, that's right, we only have to wait TWO WEEKS until we can crack out our novelty water bottles and enjoy a summer of love and drama! Captioning the short video, ITV2 wrote, '#DayDotIsComing' sic

Understandably, fans are going insane on Twitter, with one replying, 'YAAAAAAY!' sic, and another simply writing, '👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼' sic.

Sharing the post on Instagram as well, one fan commented, 'Can’t wait to be emotionally invested in a bunch of strangers lives for 7 weeks 🙌🏻' sic, another said, 'Yaaaaaas can’t wait 😊' sic, with another adding, 'OH EM GEE!!' sic.

The close date comes as no shock, with both voice-over legend Iain Stirling AND Cazza Flack taking to their Instagrams to tease the new series - as if contestant rumours weren't exciting enough!

The show is set to be a big one this year, with a star studded potential cast-list and reports suggesting that there is a HUGE shake up in store for the Islanders!
