I'm A Celebrity 2020 could be filmed in the UK 😱

But we don't have Kangaroos! 🙈

Earlier this week it was reported that Love Island bosses are considering hosting the 2020 series here in the UK, due to the current worldwide Coronavirus pandemic restricting travel and daily routine.

And although nothing has yet been confirmed by bosses, it's now being reported that ITV bigwigs are also considering a UK location for this year's series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, which will be hosted by Ant and Dec.

Of course, I'm A Celebrity is usually filmed out in New South Wales, Australia, in a permanently built up camp in Dungay, but it sounds like there are a number of contingency plans in place to ensure the 2020 series still goes ahead later in the year.

Speaking about both Love Island and I'm A Celebrity, a source told Variety, "It’s believed the 2020 summer edition could shoot somewhere in the UK rather than go overseas. A similar scenario is being considered for ITV reality hit I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! which shoots in Australia."

Now, we are struggling to see how the series will work the same here in the UK... there are no Kangaroos for starters, and we all know what the weather is like, especially in November and December! 🥶

Meanwhile, whilst bosses of shows like I'm A Celebrity, Love Island and Strictly Come Dancing are all working around the clock to allow the series to go ahead later in the year, a number of other popular shows have already been postponed.

As well as both the 2020 Summer Olympics and UEFA European Championships both being postponed till 2021, TV shows like Line of Duty, Peaky Blinders, Little Mix: The Search and The Apprentice have all suspended filming.
