After just 24 hours in camp, former Love Island star Olivia Attwood was forced to leave this year's series of I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here on Monday 7th November, as a precautionary measure to undergo medical tests.

ITV released a statement at the time, with a spokesperson saying: "As a precautionary measure Olivia needed to leave the jungle to undergo some medical checks. Unfortunately, the medical team has advised it is not safe for Olivia to return to camp as there needs to be further investigation. She has been absolutely brilliant and she'll be very much missed on the show.”

Now, as Olivia flew back home to England, the 31-year-old's team have spoken on her behalf, revealing fans will hear the 'truth' from the her in due course.

The post read: 'To say Olivia is heartbroken would be an understatement, she dreamed of doing I'm A Celeb for years, and was absolutely loving every second of the show and throwing herself into jungle life feet first (just knew she would).

'However, for reasons beyond her control her journey has been cut short. Your support and kind words have meant the absolute world to her, now as much as it always has.

'You will hear the truth from Olivia in due curse and she will be back on your screens in the New Year'.

Hours after news broke of her exit from the show, Olivia was spotted at Brisbane airport awaiting her flight home, whilst her fiancé Bradley Dack revealed to Mail Online that he 'thinks she's fine'.

The Blackburn Rovers football player told the publication: "I just saw it in the news, like anyone else. She'll be gutted. I think she's fine, but I haven't spoken to her. I'm really not sure what's happened.

"'I just saw it in the news, like anyone else. I'm waiting for a call."

Olivia's quick exit means she's only the second person in I'm A Celeb history to leave the show after just 24 hours. Back in 2005, EastEnders star Elaine Jordan chose to leave camp after fainting twice in one day.

Meanwhile, although viewers only got to see Olivia appear in two episodes of the 2022 series, it seems she won over a lot of fans in the early stages.

Following the news of her exit, fans flocked to social media to express their disappointment.

One wrote: 'I'm so gutted Olivia Attwood had to leave #ImACeleb jungle hope she’s okay she’s a star on show last night ⭐️'. Another added: 'Gutted about Olivia, she would have been great to watch'. (sic)

Another then added: 'Nooo, she was so good!' (sic)
