It's safe to say that over the past few months, Mercedes McQueen has made a few enemies in the Hollyoaks village. She's cheated on her husband Sylver McQueen with Liam Donovan, her mum-in-law Breda McQueen isn't a fan of hers and she ran over her friend Grace Black.

Joel Dexter also discovered she was the reason Grace was left temporarily paralysed and Mercedes' cousin Goldie McQueen is dating him.

Diane Hutchinson and James Nightingale are devastated about Harry Thompson's death and this week they discover the truth... However, who is the guilty culprit, and will they finish Mercedes off?

Elsewhere the Maalik family are relieved when they discover Stuart Sumner and Jonny Baxter have put The Teahouse up for sale, Ste Hay finally reaches out for help and Sami Maalik prepares for his wedding to Sinead O'Connor.

Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 4 – Friday 8 November 2019

The week begins with Mercedes living her best life with her family. She's determined not lose what she has with hubby Sylver McQueen and her son Bobby Costello.

On the day of Harry's funeral, James is determined to clear his ex-boyfriend's name from Grace's hit and run. Meanwhile Diane is worried no one will attend his funeral because everything thinks Harry is guilty.

Luckily, Mercedes – the person who actually ran Grace over months ago after being high on drugs – is there to confront Diane.

Ste has been MIA after he went into hiding with Jonny and Stuart and upon his return to the village he finally discovers his ex-boyfriend has died. He rushes to his funeral but before he can get there Stuart and Jonny stop him from attending.

At the church, while Diane is left worrying about Tony Hutchinson's whereabouts, James is distraught and can barely find the strength to walk to Harry's coffin.

Goldie is worried when she notices her mum Breda has rushed off… Elsewhere Grace is desperate to find Liam but stumbles across him at The Loft following a night out.

He's stunned when she confronts him about the hit and run… Soon after, Grace is back to her old tricks as she puts her heels and makeup on and goes over to The Dog to show Mercedes who's boss.

At the pub everyone is stunned when Grace plays the confession over the microphone that proves Mercedes framed Harry for the hit and run.

Everyone is stunned by the recording and it's not long before Mercedes faces the wrath of the rest of the residents. They all jump to the conclusion that she killed Harry to keep him quiet.

Sylver tells his wife that he would have helped her if she had opened up about the hit and run but admits he'll never forgive her for sleeping with Liam.

Mercy lies and says she's never had an affair and even swears on Bobby's life that she hasn't been unfaithful. She then begs her husband to run away with her.

While Goldie watches everyone blame Mercedes for murdering Harry, she secretly knows that Breda is the true culprit.

Jesse Donovan is furious that his brother framed Harry but is blindsided when it becomes clear how in love with Mercedes he is… That is until he talks about how he imagines shooting Mercy.

Not one to give up, Mercedes returns to The Dog and verbally abuses James, Grace, Joel, Diane, Goldie and Nana. Once she's done, she takes a bottle of champagne and heads over to The Loft.

When James declares he wants to find Mercedes whether she's dead or alive, it leaves Marnie, Juliet and Romeo worried.

While Mercedes climbs The Loft stairs, an emotional Liam and Grace decide that Mercedes needs to die. Mercy raids the safe and after finding drugs, money and a gun she hits the dance-floor without a care in the world.

James, Joel, Breda, Liam, Sylver, Grace and Diane prepare for revenge and it's not long before someone takes the gun from the bar and shoots her.

The hunt is still on for Mercedes but she's lying lifeless on The Loft dance-floor. Diane, Joel, Sylver, Grace, Liam and Breda get ready to face the day after last night's events.

Goldie decides to take control of her family but Nana McQueen grows concerned when no one has heard from Mercedes.

Later she's left curious when Joel gets his alibi mixed up – what was he doing when Mercedes was shot?

Liam gives the police his alibi – that he was 'out and about' – when Mercedes were shot. Grace and Sylver also reveal their whereabouts…

Over to the Maalik family and they are all relieved when they discover that Stuart and Jonny have put The Teahouse up for sale and prepare to move home.

When Finn O'Connor offers to buy Yasmine Maalik a burger they open up and he promises that the far-right group will pay for their actions and she will find happiness again.

Yazz then opens up to her mum Misbah and admits that she wants to be brave and go outside in the back yard.

When Ste tries to help out around the house, Stuart and Jonny make it clear that they have no respect for him. Leela Lomax arrives and warns them that the rest of the village are keeping a close eye on them.

Ste finally decides to seek help and throws a secret note over the fence to the Maalik family – will they see it? And will they help him out?

Sami continues to prepare for his and Sinead's wedding but it soon becomes clear that he isn't as excited as Azim Maalik.

Before any of the above, here's everything that will happen in Hollyoaks this week...
