There's an attempted murder, drama with the double weddings and a pregnancy scare next week in Hollyoaks. It all kicks off with James Nightingale asking Donna-Marie Quinn to be a witness in his court case, meanwhile a furious Mac Nightingale is still planning to kill his son.

Breda McQueen tells Mac she can't kill James but then has a change of heart and puts poison in James' coffee – is this the end for him? Elsewhere in the village, Prince McQueen grows concerned for Lily McQueen and when she's left upset by Romeo Quinn she plans to self-harm again.

Cleo McQueen and Mitchell Deveraux grow closer, Mercedes McQueen and Moira McQueen have a disagreement over their double wedding and Maxine Minniver has a pregnancy scare – is she expecting?

The week begins with James asking Donna-Marie to be a witness in his court case against Mac. Breda breaks into the Cunninghams house and finds Mac's laptop but things take a turn for the worse when Donna-Marie and Mac arrive home.

Before any of the drama above happens, here's everything that will happen in Hollyoaks this week. Ste Hay and the Maalik family continue their feud and as tension reaches breaking point Ste is left feeling isolated. A lonely Ste turns to Jonny and Stuart – unaware that they keep aggravating his hatred for the Maalik family – and it's not long before he meets their far-right extremists' group.

Elsewhere in the village, Sally St Claire and Myra McQueen hit a rough patch, Mac Nightingale continues to secretly bully Donna-Marie Quinn, Harry Thompson and James Nightingale return to the village and Joel Dexter tries to help Liam Donovan.

Hollyoaks airs on Channel 4 every weeknight at 6.30pm, with First Look on E4 at 7pm.
