Hollyoaks have released an explosive trailer for Spring 2019

Hollyoaks have released a brand new trailer giving us a glimpse of what's to come this Spring!

There's some seriously dramatic storylines set to shock us, including a car crash with Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) and Liam Donovan (Jude Monk McGowan) and an unrevealed casualty.

The ex-lovers are seen crashing into some roadworks, leaving us guessing as to who has been knocked over. The only clue is a gold high-heel kicked aside by bad boy Liam. Who did they hit!?

Other suspenseful highlights from the excitement packed trailer include a potential new victim for Breda McQueen (Moya Brady), seen suspiciously brandishing a heavy mallet. Who is in danger now, we wonder?

It all begins with Juliet ready to confess her love for Darren. While she prepares, Mandy is at the hospital with Darren and Tom Cunningham for her final check up.

More drama comes from Sienna Blake (Anna Passey) who punches unpleasant teacher Laurie Shelby (Kyle Pryor) for making an inappropriate pass at her. Meanwhile his wife Sinead Shelby (Stephanie Davis) finally breaks down from his emotional abuse and admits to Sienna that she's frightened of her husband.

The trailer also sees development of the far-right extremist group led by Stuart Sumner (Chris Simmons) and Jonny Baxter (Ray Quinn). There's also drama for Maxine Minniver (Nikki Sanderson), who is proposed to by boyfriend Damon Kinsella (Jacob Roberts), but her fake serious illness may finally be foiled.

Further tension is added when Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn) gives birth - but who is the baby's father!?

Last week's Hollyoaks was an emotional one with Lily McQueen's (Lauren McQueen) tragic ending - we don't know if we can handle much more shock!
