A very popular McQueen is returning to Hollyoaks
WARNING: MAJOR SPOILERS!
Last updated 2nd Oct 2017
Fans of Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks are in for a treat as it's been confirmed that popular character Nana McQueen will be returning to the show.
Nana, who is played by 70-year-old actress Diane Langton, left the show back in February after she decided to take a break. However, it's now been revealed she's back and is set to find out her grandaughter Cleo's big secret.
Last week viewers of the popular soap discovered Cleo is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Joel Dexter, however Cleo decided to keep the news a secret from her family and only told her best friend Holly Cunningham.
This is all about to change when Nana McQueen returns to the Hollyoaks village and becomes suspicious of Cleo's morning sickness.
A Hollyoaks insider told a national newspaper, "Nana’s timing couldn’t be better. Myra has been struggling to cope and as everyone knows poor Cleo has been through so much over the last few months. Turning to heroin wasn’t the smartest thing she’s ever done and then there’s her relationship with Joel Dexter.
"So when Myra confides in Nana that she thinks Cleo is back on drugs they confront her."
The insider then added, "This leads to Cleo breaking down and revealing that she is pregnant with Joel’s baby. She once again looks to her aunt and Nana for support after admitting that she doesn’t know what to do. It’s going to be an emotional time for everyone."
Actress Diane's last appearance on the soap came earlier this year when she returned with her grandson Bart for the funeral of Celine McQueen after she was murdered by Hollyoaks bad boy Cameron Campbell.
We can't wait for her return!
Meanwhile, in other Hollyoaks news, Milo Entwistle's mysterious past was finally revealed after a flashback episode revealed he was the one who killed Tom Cunningham's parents in a car crash back in 2004.
Milo has been living with Tom's sister Cindy and enjoying getting to know the family, but fans were always aware that he was hiding a big secret. Despite telling Cindy that he had been to jail in the past, he is yet to confess to her what he's actually done to Tom's family.
Hollyoaks continues weeknights at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
Meanwhile Hollyoaks stars Anna Passey (Sienna Blake) and Andrew Still (Joel Dexter) took part in Stand Up To Cancer's Great Canoe Challenge along with a whole host of other celebrities last week.
The duo paired up with paddles to join a heroic team powering their way through waterways of the North West.
