Hollyoaks spoilers: Maxine Minniver's SHOCK at new love interest

She has no idea who he really is...

Maxine Minniver hasn’t had the best luck in her relationships on Hollyoaks, but next week she meets a new man.

It all begins when she spots him checking her out but she’s left worried when she discovers Brad is her landlord and fear he’ll kick her out.

He manages to reassure her that he just wants to see her again and it’s not long before they end up snogging…

However things take a turn when her mum arrives and she discovers Brad has a girlfriend – her mum.

Meanwhile Summer Ranger does some snooping and is intrigued when she discovers Warren’s surname is Fox and she quickly confronts him about his violent past.

The Hutchinson family prepare to say goodbye to Edward but they’re shocked when they discover his has a secret child.

Toby Faroe spirals out of control and plots to kill his mum, Luke Morgan confronts Mandy Richardson and things take an awkward turn with James Nightingale and Ste Hay.

Hollyoaks spoilers: Monday 18 – Friday 22 January 2021

The week begins with Maxine notices a hot guy checking out. However when she discovers he's her new landlord she worries that she'll lose her home.

However Brad reassures her that he just wants to see her again and promises that she can stay in her home.

Soon after they snog and Maxine is left on Cloud 9 about her new love interest.

Maxine is excited to see Brad again but she's stunned when her mum Trish – aka Denise Welch – arrives looking for her boyfriend – Brad.

Maxine instantly wants to tell her mum about her snog with Brad but Trish just accuses her of stirring things.

Maxine is then shocked when her mum announces she's moving to Hollyoaks with Brad.

While Maxine is fuming about her mum's move, Theresa McQueen tries to encourage her to give her mum a chance.

By the end of the week Maxine is suffering through a boozy afternoon at The Dog with her mum and Brad.

Meanwhile, Brody Hudson is feeling awkward when Sienna Blake and Summer throw jibes at each other.

However when Summer mentions Sienna's "secret" with Warren, Brody wants answers…

Following a conversation with Grace Black, Summer discovers Warren's surname is Fox. It's not long before she puts two and two together – Warren has a history of violence and knows her dad.

It's not long before she confronts him about attacking Cormac… Meanwhile Brody proposes to Sienna.

Elsewhere Tony wants to cook Diane a nice dinner but he's shocked when he catches her lying. While she tells him she's at her aunties, Tony spots his wife in Salon De Thé.

Tony wants answers about why Diane lied to him about her whereabouts – what will she say?

After picking up Edward's ashes, the Hutchinson's head to Edward's will reading.

Verity is stunned when the lawyer references Edward's five dependants because she only knows about four of them.

Tony suggests that they scatter Edward's ashes tomorrow so they can all be set free.

Toby Faroe is smitten over Cleo McQueen but next week he storms out of their date when he finds out he'll need counselling before donating a kidney to Walter. He worries his dark past will come out…

While Celeste is happy about Toby's budding romance, Cleo is excited that he wants to see her again. However she's taken aback when Martine Deveraux asks her to take things slow with her son because he's a virgin.

Toby is furious when he discovers what Martine has said and storms off to the garage in a rage.

Felix Westwood tells Cleo to go home. He then tells Toby that he's a danger to himself and others and that he's going to put a stop to it.

The following day he's ready to tell the police about Toby's past but first, he visits his son for chat.

Toby is left feeling bad about how he treated Cleo and promises that he'll make it up to her once he's got through therapy and can save Walter's life.

However during the therapy session, Toby flips out – thinking the counsellor has brought a copy of The Red Door with her. He's unaware that it belongs to Felix… Meanwhile Walter doubles over in pain and is rushed to hospital.

When Toby spots his mum upset, he lies and tells her that the counselling session went fine, so he'll be able to help with Walter's kidney transplant. However when Misbah Maalik tells her the truth, Martine confronts her son over his lies.

Toby snaps, locks Martine in the garage and then tells Celeste that he's going to kill their mum.

While Martine is trapped in the garage, Celeste is stunned at Toby pouring petrol around outside.

Luke confronts Mandy about their secret from New Year's Eve but she refuses to come clean – will Luke help her?

James is frustrated when he finds Ste deep cleaning his flat – he can't get away from him following their night together.

James then gives Ste a verbal warning for disturbing him while he works from home.

Ste is at the end of his tether at the Nightingale's he later issues James with a formal letter of complaint for harassment in the workplace. Ste then tells James he wants a raise and an apology or he's going to sue.

Sami Maalik is victorious after landing a major client for the law firm.

Before any of the above, here's everything that will happen on Hollyoaks this week...

PC George Kiss and Nancy Osborne have a huge argument but when John Paul McQueen doesn’t leap to his boyfriend’s defence, things turn nasty...

Later, George’s ex-boyfriend Dean returns to the village and it leaves John Paul concerned but that should be the least of his worries when his boyfriend reveals he wants to take their relationship to the next step.

What will John Paul say?

Meanwhile Juliet Nightingale opens up and admits that she’s scared in prison so Sid Sumners decides he’s going to help her out – by getting a taped confession from drug dealer boss Victor.

Ste Hay leaves some residents upset with his new cleaning job, things are looking up for Diane and Tony Hutchinson who are stronger than ever, Sienna Blake makes a shocking discovery and Darren Osborne worries about Ella.
