He's already the King of the Jungle, but could he be the new King of the Dancefloor? Well, if new reports are true, the amazing Harry Redknapp could be about to appear on the 2019 series of Strictly Come Dancing.

According to new reports, Hazza is a hot favourite with bookies to land a place on the show, with bosses said to be VERY keen to sign him up following his success on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here last year.

The news comes after Harry turned down the show last year, in favour of a place in the jungle, with the 72-year-old telling Mail Online, “I told Jamie Redknapp I was thinking of doing Strictly and I don't think he was pleased about it. And so I was offered the jungle at the same time and chose to do that.”

Meanwhile, although the official line-up of the show won't be confirmed until a few weeks before, rumours are already heating up, with a number of high-profile names in the mix.

As well as Harry, Boyzone star Keith Duffy is also a hot favourite, with the likes of Alan Carr, Chris Evans and Gemma Collins also rumoured.

Although no celebrities have been confirmed yet, the BBC have announced which professional dancers will be on the 2019 series.

Strictly legend Anton Du Beke will return, as well as last year's winner Kevin Clifton, and dad-to-be, Gorka Márquez. Fan favourites AJ Pritchard, Oti Mabuse and Dianne Buswell will also return, with controversial dancer Katya Jones also keeping her place on the show, despite THAT kiss with Seann Walsh last year.

In 2018 AJ was partnered with Lauren Steadman.

In other Strictly Come Dancing news, Dame Darcey Bussell sensationally quit the show last week, after seven years on the show.

She said, "It has been a complete privilege for me to be part of Strictly, working with such a talented team,' she wrote. 'I have enjoyed every minute of my time and will miss everyone from my fellow judges, the presenters, the dancers, the musicians, the entire back stage team, and especially the viewers of the show, who have been so supportive."

Strictly Come Dancing will return to our screens later in the year.
