If you're a fan of Harlan Coben dramas on Netflix, you'll be thrilled to know that the streaming service have confirmed they'll be adapting two more of his novels, thanks to the phenomenal success of Fool Me Once.

Netflix will be adapting Harlan's novels Missing You and Run Away in the next few years, with production for Run Away reportedly beginning later in 2024.

Whilst Harlan himself will once again act as an Executive Producer on both shows through his company Final Twist Productions, Fool Me Once writer Danny Brocklehurst will work on Run Away, with Stay Close writer Victoria Asare-Archer writing Missing You.

What is Run Away about?

Released in March 2019, Harlan's novel Run Away is a thriller that followers a parent's attempt to find his drug addict daughter.

The book's blurb reads: 'You’ve lost your daughter.

'She’s addicted to drugs and to an abusive boyfriend. And she’s made it clear that she doesn’t want to be found.

'Then, by chance, you see her playing guitar in Central Park. But she’s not the girl you remember. This woman is living on the edge, frightened, and clearly in trouble.

'You don’t stop to think. You approach her, beg her to come home.

'She runs.

'And you do the only thing a parent can do: you follow her into a dark and dangerous world you never knew existed. Before you know it, both your family and your life are on the line. And in order to protect your daughter from the evils of that world, you must face them head on.'

What is Missing You about?

Missing You was released in March 2014 and is a heart-pounding thriller about the ties we have to our past.

The book's blurb reads: 'It’s a profile, like all the others on the online dating site. But as NYPD Detective Kat Donovan focuses on the accompanying picture, she feels her whole world explode, as emotions she’s ignored for decades come crashing down on her. Staring back at her is her ex-fiancé Jeff, the man who shattered her heart 18 years ago.

'Kat feels a spark, wondering if this might be the moment when past tragedies recede and a new world opens up to her. But when she reaches out to the man in the profile, her reawakened hope quickly darkens into suspicion and then terror as an unspeakable conspiracy comes to light, in which monsters prey upon the most vulnerable.'
