A Gogglebox star just landed a job at Downing Street
He's taking a break from the show

Since hitting our TV screens back in 2013, Channel 4 show Gogglebox has became a major hit with fans in the UK. Who knew watching other people watch TV on a Friday night would be so entertaining?!
It's popularity is helped by some of the hilarious families on the show, including the Tapper family made up of mum Nikki, dad Jonathan and children Josh and Amy.
Unfortunately for fans, 20-year-old Josh Tapper is set to take a break from filming as he's landed himself a job at Downing Street.
According to reports Josh has been offered a Civil Service apprenticeship at the Cabinet Office, where more than 2,000 staff work alongside Theresa May.
A source told The Mirror, "Channel 4 will, of course, keep the door open for him but it’s a really exciting opportunity for him. It’s a much coveted job. Josh has already started having meetings within No. 10."
Reports suggest Josh's apprenticeship will last for two years and involves a range of administrative duties, with the possibility of applying for a job within the government at the end.
Despite Josh's new job, it seems his parents and his sister Amy will continue to star on the popular show.
The Tapper family, along with June and Leon, Christopher and Stephen, the Michaels and the Siddiquis, have been on the show since the very first season back in 2013.
Gogglebox is now onto its 10th series, with the current series airing on Channel 4 at 9pm on Fridays.
Just last week Josh's mum Nikki Tapper took part in Stand Up To Cancer's Great Canoe Challenge to help raise money for the charity.
Nikki, along with a whole host of other celebrities including Love Island's Jess Shears and Dom Lever, Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson and Emmerdale's Natalie Anderson, took part in the challenge.
Showing grit and determination, the ‘Paddlers’; Carla Bradbury, Jag Chather, David Sing and Helen Weller, who have all been affected by cancer, rowed five marathons in five days. The team set off from Chester on Monday 25th September and completed the challenge in the heart of Liverpool, at the Albert Docks, on Friday 29th September.
