Emmerdale spoilers: Jai Sharma and Laurel Thomas' shock diagnosis
It's a shock for everyone
After learning of their pregnancy Laurel Thomas and Jai Sharma want to keep it to themselves and are surprised to be told at a private scan they're at 13 weeks.
But their happy new is soon tainted when the doctor tells them there's a strong possibility their baby could suffer from some kind of chromosomal syndrome, and soon Laurel and Jai have a huge decision on their hands.
Elsewhere, Moira Barton thinks she could be finally winning Cain Dingle back round when she manages to seduce him on his birthday. But she's soon left stung when Cain's mood switches once more.
Meanwhile Paul Ashdale is overcome by guilt when he sees how upset Mandy Dingle is by Vinny Dingle ignoring her.
But will he risk her finding out about his gambling secret for a reconciliation?

Laurel and Jai decide to pay for a private scan and the doctor tells them she estimates Laurel's pregnancy to be 13 weeks.
But the doctor is unsure and fetches a more senior colleague to double check. When the more senior doctor takes a look, it's clear something is wrong.
She explains to a worried Jai and Laurel that it looks likely their baby will have some kind of chromosomal syndrome and offers them a Chorionic villus sampling test.
While Jai wants to remain positive, Laurel is clearly crushed by the news and frets over taking the test, knowing it could put their baby at risk.
Back at home, oblivious to Jai and Laurel's situation, Noah makes some unkind comments about a pregnant teach and an emotional Laurel snaps at him.
Elsewhere, it's Cain's birthday and Moira, Sarah and Noah pay him a surprise visit at the garage to wish him a happy birthday.
While there, Moira suggests that Cain come home for lunch to celebrate and is chuffed when she appears to convince him.
Following a successful lunch date Moira manages to seduce Cain but the next day is hurt when Cain is abrupt with her, sensing something is up.
Moira is left feeling shut out by Cain and is put in an even worse mood when Mackenzie shows up and gleefully puts down her relationship.
In between winding up his sister, Mackenzie lets slip something about Charity and soon Moira is left concerned for her.
Elsewhere, Noah has been struggling with feeling shut out by Charity and confides in Chas who gives him an idea.
Over at Jacob's Fold, Charity is feeling sorry for herself after reading a letter from Vanessa but is soon distracted when Moira turns up.
Moira tears a strip off Charity about how she's been treating Noah but she's then shocked shocked when Cain shows up and takes Charity's side.
Meanwhile, Vinny is avoiding his mum and it hasn't gone unnoticed by Mandy who turns up at Mill laden with Christmas gifts.
But Vinny remains unmoved and cold and after Mandy leaves Liv urges him not to let Paul get in the way of his relationship with his mum.
The next day, a nostalgic Mandy tells Paul that she and Vinny used to go ice skating together at Christmas, but laments he won't want to this year.
Painfully aware of why Vinny is ignoring her, Paul is riddled with guilt but still scared of Mandy finding out about his gambling addiction.
Paul sets the wheels in motion and soon Mandy and Vinny are reconnecting, but Paul wants to get Liv on side and pays a visit to Mill.
During their showdown Liv begins to feel light headed and later on wakes up on the sofa, Paul telling her she's had a fit and he's made sure she's ok.
But Liv's gratitude soon turns to concern when she realises Paul is actually threatening her, each of them with a secret to hide.
Elsewhere, Rishi calls his family together for a special announcement and reveals he's decided to use his pension pot to pay for Al and Priya's wedding.
While Priya is over the moon, Jai quickly turns on Al and accuses him of taking advantage of his family for a quick quid.
Jai's outburst causes an 'offended' Al to politely decline Rishi's generous offer, saying he couldn't possibly have the family of his future wife think that about him.
Later on a livid Priya turns on her brother and lays into him for ruining her chances of a happy ever after with Al. Has Al's plan gone off without a hitch?
