Will Harriet Finch admit to her part in it, too?

After a months-long campaign of terror against the residents of Emmerdale, D.I Malone finally meets his grizzly end when he's shot and killed by Dawn Taylor.

Watching Will grow increasingly paranoid to the point he buys a gun to protect them, Dawn finally comes clean and admits to the murder, leaving her dad stunned. When Harriet Finch arrives home unexpectedly, she's left to decide if she will come clean about her own involvement in the crime.

Will she?

Belle is forced to defend herself from Paddy

Elsewhere, Belle Dingle is in the firing line as Paddy Kirk and Marlon Dingle accuse her of creating a family feud (which, tbf, she has). With Jamie Tate her only support, Belle is cautious when he declares he wants to push on with the divorce.

Meanwhile, Marlon is mortified to have seemingly ruined Amy Wyatt's chances with Matty Barton and sets the wheels in motion to reunite them, but Tracy Metcalfe has other ideas...

Emmerdale spoilers Monday 7 - Friday 11 September

After Belle moved out, Paddy confronts her in the street over starting a rift in the family and has something to say about her choosing Jamie over them.

Belle is upset and annoyed that Paddy has been talking about her and Jamie behind their backs, especially when it's clear Marlon is involved too.

Later on, word gets out that there's a new witness in Moira's hit and run case and while Jamie tries to stay calm, Belle panics.

But there's soon bigger fish to fry when Cain confronts the couple in the street and has a huge go at Belle about being with a Tate.

Back at Home Farm, Jamie tells Belle that he's determined to divorce Andrea for real so they can be a proper couple but Belle isn't so sure.

Though she's touched by his show of commitment, Belle is concerned that Andrea won't react well to moving so quickly, especially as she knows their secret.

Just then, Andrea arrives home and hears the end of their conversation. How will she react to find Belle already moved in and Jamie talking about divorce?

Elsewhere, Will has been getting more and more paranoid about Malone as he's convinced he's seen him around acting shifty.

With Harriet heading out of town on a religious retreat, Dawn tries to allay his fears but after a frantic phone call he heads off in a hurry. What is he up to?

Unbeknownst to Will and Dawn, Harriet has cut her retreat short and sits in the church feeling contemplative over Malone.

Seeing the church door ajar, Cain let's himself in to find his former flame sobbing in the pews. Will Harriet open up to Cain about what's happened?

Back at Woodbine, Dawn gets wind that Will has bought a gun to use in self defence but quickly reminds him what happened last time there was a gun in the house.

At the end of her tether, Dawn finally reveals the truth to Will - that she shot and killed Malone, although she tactfully edits Harriet out of the story.

Will is stunned, but at that moment Harriet arrives home, catching them both off guard, and hears the end of their conversation.

As Harriet considers whether to come clean about her own involvement in Malone's murder, she's forced to confront the sordid reality of her affair.

How will Will react?

Meanwhile, Marlon is mortified to learn that his stunt with the pizza boxed last week caused a row between Amy and her crush Matty.

Wanting to make it up to her, Marlon invites Amy along to the pub to try his new pizza menu, promising to invite Matty along too.

Marlon tells Paddy about his plan for the pizza tasting, who suggests he invite other people along so that it won't be awkward for Amy.

That evening, Amy arrives glammed up for the tasting but is disappointed it's not the intimate affair she thought it would be.

Things take a turn for the worse when Tracy arrives and it's clear to everyone present that there's tension bubbling between them

The next day, Tracy makes her best attempt at getting in between Matty and Amy, determined to stop them from dating each other.

As for what's going on this week...

Belle Dingle and Jamie Tate's affair has been bubbling away for months now, but when Cain Dingle arrives home from a trip and learns they're still seeing each other, she's forced to make the ultimate sacrifice.

In this Montague/Capulet scenario, Belle has to choose between her love and her family...and Dingle patriarch Zak is not prepared for her decision.

Elsewhere, while Mandy Dingle tries her best to prove to her son Vinny that his estranged dad Paul is no good, she's left red faced when her accusations against him prove baseless.

Amy's after a date with Matty

But while Paul appears to have proven himself this time round, is he really the changed man he claims to be?

Meanwhile, Marlon Dingle is wracked with guilt when he realises his petty act of revenge could have serious consequences for Amy Wyatt, and Tracy Metcalfe thinks it's time to announce her pregnancy.
