Emmerdale spoilers: Shock news for Cain Dingle

He thinks he's uncovered a scandalous village affair...

Author: Marianna MansonPublished 30th Jun 2020

Next week on Emmerdale, Cain Dingle seethes when he catches Malone heading over to Home Farm and wrongly assumes that he's having an affair with Moira Barton.

But earlier in the day Moira had uncovered Malone's affair with Harrient Finch and Malone's visit to Home Farm is anything but a friendly one.

Harriet is caught out

Elsewhere, Jamie Tate is furious when he inadvertently learns that Andrea Tate and their daughter Millie had been staying with Leyla Harding at Take A Vow.

Leyla and her estranged lover Liam Cavanagh are in for a surprise when their kids Jacob and Leanna get involved in their relationship and Bob Hart's date with Wendy Posner doesn't go to plan.

CHECK OUT: Emmerdale spoilers Monday 6 - Friday 10 July:

Still torn over marrying Will and her affair with Malone, Harriet prays for God's forgiveness, but arriving at the church it's clear she's not alone when Malone turns up.

But despite her protests and good intentions it looks as though she and Malone are about to kiss... until they're interrupted by Moira.

Harriet can't bring herself to lie about the affair, coming clean to a stunned Moira - who's left even more shocked by Cain's involvement with Malone's dodgy dealings at the garage.

Meanwhile, Will passes on the message to Cain that Malone is back on the scene and Cain confronts Malone, telling him to stay away, but Malone says he's got new business in Emmerdale...

Wrongly assuming Malone is talking about Moira, later on Cain follows him to Home Farm and disappears inside.

Inside, Malone threatens Moira not to let his affair with Harriet out of the bag, but outside Cain quietly seethes as he takes this as confirmation that Malone's having an affair with Moira.

Later on, Cain gets a call from the police who tell him that Moira has been the victim of a hit and run.

Elsewhere, Gabby and Leanna are catching up and Gabby is surprised to learn her friend is back on good terms with Jacob and Leyla.

When Jacob turns up to pick up Leanna and the pair head off, Gabby can't help but feel lonely as she realises she's become something of a third wheel.

Later on, Liam arrives home from his Murder Mystery retreat and seems even more downcast than he was before he left, acutely aware of his newfound singledom.

Seeing how sad her dad seems to be, and with Jacob echoing similar sentiments with his mum, Leanna and Jacob decide to put their own feelings aside and reunite their parents.

They set the scene at the corner shop for a romantic meal for their parents to enjoy. And love is in the air when Jacob and Leyla agree to be 'exclusive' with each other.

It's just the antidote Leyla needs after a tough day, as earlier on Jamie had shown up at the Take A Vow offices for a confrontation.

Having found out through a picture of Millie's that they'd been staying at Take A Vow, Jamie is furious that Leyla had been helping Andrea.

Jamie demands to know more but Leyla is adamant she doesn't know where Andrea is now. A mysterious call to Kim's phone could hold a clue to her whereabouts.

Jamie dials 1471 and is able to trace the call. As he heads off in the car to bring Andrea home, will he regret finding out what happened?

Belle is tense when she knows that Jamie is heading out to track down Andrea. Noticing her unease, Chas quietly warns Belle about her relationship with Jamie.

Bob and Wendy are finally on their date at the Woolpack but Bob can't help feel unsettled when Wendy keeps checking her phone.

Bob worries that Wendy might be texting Rodney and Chas tries to encourage Bob to get onto a dating site to see what his options are.

But before all that, here's what's coming up next week...

Andrea Tate has been hiding out with her daughter Millie at a hotel ever since her husband Jamie Tate's affair with Belle Dingle was made public.

After much persuasion from Leyla Harding, Andrea agrees to come back to the village but having caught Jamie and Belle together again Andrea flees, insisting she can't stay.

Bob and Wendy head out on a date

Elsewhere, Harriet Finch is having second thoughts about marrying Will Taylor and when she fails to show up to a meeting with the bishop Will has to awkwardly cover for her - but Harriet has her own business to attend to...

Will she end things with Malone?
