Emmerdale director accidentally reveals MAJOR spoiler about Rebecca White

Emmerdale viewers watched on in shock last week as the murdering Lachlan White finally killed off his aunt Rebecca White after keeping her hostage for weeks. The villainous teen, who has now claimed four victims on the soap - his grandfather Lawrence White, his mum Chrissie White, his best friend Gerry Roberts as well as Rebecca - was seen foiling her attempt to escape after she made a run for it.

Unfortunately for her, Lachlan put paid to that attempt, and strangled her to death before packing her body up in a suitcase. Nasty stuff.

HOWEVER. The director of Emmerdale George C. Siougas may have just revealed that Rebecca survived her terrible ordeal after posting a certain photo on Instagram.

Taking to his Instagram profile, George shared a photo of himself next to Emily and her actor father, Anthony Head - most famous for starring as Rupert Giles in Buffy the Vampire Slayer - captioning the now-deleted photo: "With the great Anthony Head who paid us a set visit today to see his lovely daughter Emily."

But one eagle-eyed fan realised that if Emily is still at the Emmerdale studios, Rebecca is most likely alive: "You’ve kinda just given away that she’s alive there pal," which caused George to immediately delete the post.

He later uploaded the same photo again with Emily cut out, before deleting that too.

One fan pointed out that Rebecca could be returning as a ghost: "Could also be a dream sequence or she is doing the same to Lachlan that James did to Emma last ssw?"
