Up in Emmerdale they LOVE a surprise Christmas Day wedding (remember when Jessie Grant surprised Marlon Dingle by meeting him at the alter?) and this year is no exception with Paddy Kirk pulling out all the stops to whisk Chas Dingle off her feet.

But not everyone is thrilled about the union and when Charity Dingle hears she's not been invited, she threatens to ruin everything.

Moira offers Mack a place at Butler's

Elsewhere, Liv Dingle is furious when Paul Ashdale breaks his pact and reveals her secret to her brother Aaron Dingle. In a bid to reap revenge she spills his secret to Vinny Dingle - will Vinny tell his mum?

Meanwhile, Mackenzie is threatening to leave town until Moira offers him a place to stay at Butler's but Cain is not best pleased, Jamie Tate wants to reunite with Andrea Tate and Al Chapman continues to get away with stringing along two different women.

CHECK OUT: Emmerdale Monday 21 - Friday 25 December

With operation secret-Christmas-day-wedding-for-Chas underway, Paddy is frustrated that none of his wedding plans seem to be going his way.

When a clueless Chas mentions that Charity won't be invited to Christmas lunch this year, Marlon remembers he's forgotten to send out the wedding invites.

And Paddy is caught short when the marquee company cancels his rental without warning, leaving the pub garden their only option.

When Leyla agrees to help the guileless blokes in their scheme Paddy and Marlon are grateful and begin preparations for the rehearsal.

Later, after an intense row breaks out over Charity neglecting Noah, she's hurt to hear talk of wedding prep and that she's been left off the guest list.

As Paddy, Marlon and Bear desperately try to keep the wedding a secret from Chas, will a scorned Charity ruin everything for them?

Meanwhile, Charity agrees to help Mackenzie stash his stolen merchandise and as they head over to the barn, Charity can't help but feel attracted to him - but should she trust him?

After their nearly caught in the act, Mackenzie breaks the news to Moira that he's outstayed his welcome and is leaving Emmerdale.

But, desperate not to lose her brother again right before Christmas, Moira offers Mack a place at Butler's, leaving Cain furious.

Later on Moira is touched when she spies Mack looking through the family photo albums, but soon old resentments surface and Mack storms out.

Full of festive spirit and goodwill, Cain organises a romantic meal and Moira is heartened when he suggests they start wearing their wedding rings again.

Jamie returns to the village to the wrath of his furious mother who tells him he's embarrassed the family and orders him to clean up his mess.

Later, Kim tells Milly they've got a special Christmas treat in store for her, leaving Andrea fuming they've usurped her festive plans.

When Andrea goes to drop off Milly to spend Christmas Eve at the Tate's, Jamie manages to convince her to let their daughter spend Christmas day with them.

Later on Kim is stunned when Jamie muses that maybe he and Andrea should get back together - but will he get Andrea on board?

When Liv mentions that she's got driving lessons scheduled Paul is apprehensive, aware that she's been having seizures again.

But Liv is adamant it's no big deal and later Paul spots her driving off with her instructor and decides he has to get involved.

Paul breaks the news to Aaron that Liv has been having seizures again and is worried about her getting behind the wheel of a car.

Aaron is furious his sister could be so reckless and when she arrives home lays into her, with Paul and Vinny watching on.

Liv is furious that Paul has gone back on their pact and before he can leave, Liv reveals his own secret to Vinny - that he's been gambling again.

Vinny is furious that his dad has gone back to his old habits but Paul is dismissive, insisting the bet was just a one-off and he's kicked his addiction.

Unconvinced, Vinny tells Paul to stop being weak and admit he's an addict and get the help he needs, but Paul sees red and quickly turns violent.

Elsewhere Laurel goes to visit Ashley's grave to clear her head as she struggles to reconcile her feelings of guilt over her decision.

When Marlon arrives to pay his respects, Laurel can't stand him being nice to her after what she's done and begs him to leave her alone.

Elsewhere Priya is looking forward to spending her first Christmas with Al and is firm on wanting to have him all to herself.

But Al is on a different page and makes plans to see his other woman, feeling smug about managing to successfully string them both along.

Christmas Day arrives and Al arrives laden with gifts for Priya but is already concocting a story to sneak away to see his mistress.

Priya is touched when Al presents her with an expensive necklace but is unaware he's bought exactly the same gift for someone else.

As Andrea, Dawn and Belle, all receive mysterious texts, we're left wondering who Al's mystery woman could be...

Rishi has been looking forward to the big day after hiring a Santa suit, ready to surprise the kids with a visit from Father Christmas.

But Priya and Manpreet are mortified by his act and quickly convince him the kids are too old for his silly game and to drop the suit.

But first, here's everything coming up on Emmerdale the week before Christmas...

Ever since corrupt Detective Inspector Malone was killed earlier this year, Harriet Finch has struggled to reconcile her sin with her religion. But now her worst fears are realised as the guilt from her past comes back to haunt her when a local mourner, Jean, begins the process to exhume her father, who's buried below.

With Will Taylor on side, the pair need to move Malone's body - and fast. But can they work quick enough to avoid being found out? And where will they put his body?

Al's getting off scott free

Elsewhere Rhona Goskirk wants to make amends with Laurel Thomas following their row, but Laurel is in a dark place and needs her family's support.

Meanwhile, Ellis Chapman and Marlon Dingle are convinced that Billy Fletcher is dealing and launch their own investigation, and Dan Spencer is left a surprise gift from an anonymous sender.
