Emmerdale boss teases huge plot that will change the village forever

In the land of soaps viewers can expect some explosive scenes with some of their favourite characters, but now Emmerdale bosses have teased a major set of storylines!
Over on Emmerdale's official Instagram story, boss Iain MacLeod has left fans excited after he teased a massive storyline that will 'tilt the whole Emmerdale universe on its axis'.
Writing on Emmerdale's 'Tuesday Treat' on social media, Iain said, 'There’s a really massive surprise coming in October which even the character it happens to hasn’t seen coming which will tilt the whole Emmerdale universe on its axis.'
This immediately left fans wondering which character the major plot could be for. Could this be the end of Emma Barton, or will it be another star of the show?
This isn't the only storyline bosses of the show teased. As well as the 'massive surprise', Iain revealed a number of other plots.

Not only will there be a brand new arrival to cause trouble for the Dingles, there will be a dramatic issue led storyline at the end of the year and there is also a new big storyline coming for Aaron Dingle and Liv Flaherty.
The plot twist which is set to rock the village is due to air in October this year.
This will be one year on from the catastrophic motorway car pile up caused by Emma which killed James Barton and injured others.
