While fans are enjoying the first part of Emily in Paris season four, stars of the show Lily Collins (Emily) and Lucas Bravo (Gabriel) have sparked a lot of excitement. Speaking after the release of Part One of season four they opened up about the idea of doing a crossover with the iconic 90s series Sex and The City.

Comparisons between the two shows have been made since Emily in Paris first arrived on Netflix in 2020. Both series show off stunning outfits and follow the complicated love-lives of the main characters. And they just so happen to have the same talented creator, Darren Star, behind them.

Now, the pair who play Emily and Gabriel, who have what we can only call a complicated relationship, spoke to IMDb about a crossover. When asked about doing a crossover show, Lily immediately said: "The obvious, but also genuine answer is going to be Sex and The City, just because naturally I feel like there is a lot of crossover there!"

Lily's thoughts were repeated by her co-stars, Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucien Laviscount (Alfie) and the former Savoir team.

Lucas then added: "We were talking about having Kim Cattrall manifesting her presence on Emily in Paris, but it would imply there was a substantial role for her to take on, and also her to say yes to that idea. But I've been floating all day and dreaming about that opportunity and I hope it happens!"

While nothing has been confirmed, we certainly hope something will. The first part of the fourth season of Emily in Paris is now available to watch on Netflix, while fans will have to wait another few weeks before the second part arrives. Part Two is set to bring more drama to Emily's life as she leaves Paris for Italy.

The series first arrived on Netflix back in 2020 and has become very popular since its release, following the life of Emily, an American marketing executive, who arrives in Paris to work at a French firm. After some ups and downs, she ends up staying in the City of Love.

Seasons 1 - 3 and the first part of season four of Emily in Paris are available to watch on Netflix now.

Meanwhile, Sex and The City was a huge TV show between 1998 and 2004, the characters then returned in two films, released in 2008 and 2010. The Sex and The City spin-off series, also created by Darren Star, called And Just Like That... started in 2021 and has now been renewed for a third season, due to land in 2025.
