The week kicks off with Ben struggling to get Lola Mitchell back on side so he reminds her she needs the money for a new life.

He then arranges a Mitchell brunch and is over the moon when Phil says they can move forward with their plan, unfortunately his happy mood doesn't last long when Keanu and Jay Brown arrive.

Things take a turn for the worse when Phil announces Keanu will be working with him too and then Ben – who thinks Jay and Lola are getting too close – interrupts the pair.

After Jay leaves, Lola quickly reassures Ben that nothing is going on. Hmm. The kissed they had last week says otherwise… Then Jay and Lola meet up in The Vic, and Jay suggests they get back together. Just as Lola tries to open up to him, Ben arrives with a bombshell – what will he say?

Phil collects the money from Billy Mitchell at the club but he is quick to cover in from of Sharon Mitchell when Mel arrives for her cut. Phil then gives Danny his money and turns down a job offer. Things get awkward when Ben overhears and challenges Phil but he's quick to put his son in his place.

Soon after, Ben meets Danny to take him up on the deal Phil turned down but when he refuses, Ben is quick to threaten Danny's family.

It seems that Ben has won him over as Danny reconsiders but when Ben leaves, Danny makes a phone call…

Keanu feels uncomfortable when Louise wants to take their relationship to the next stage. Unbeknownst to them, Midge is watching and after he flirts with Louise he makes a worrying phone call…

Phil begins to grow suspicious when Sharon leaves Dennis Rickman to help prepare the family lunch while she heads out with Louise. While they're out together, Midge is secretly watching them from afar.

Later on, everyone arrives for lunch but things don't go well for Sharon and then when Keanu arrives to collect his wages, Phil insists he spend time with Louise.

After Keanu rejects Louise's advances she storms out of the Mitchell house to see Bex. It soon becomes clear that Louise is only interested in her relationship with Keanu and after Bex accuses her pal of that, she leaves.

Midge is quick to follow Louise and it's not long before he tries to befriend her. Back at the Mitchell household, Phil texts Keanu demanding to know where Louise is.

As Keanu rushes off to find her, he spots Louise with Midge and it soon dawns on him that she's in danger. Will he be able to warn her before it's too late?

Over to Mel Owen and her week begins with her discovering someone has thrown a brick through her window. She calls Jack to sort out the repair but when he pops over he realises how fragile she is. Jack manages to persuade his ex-girlfriend to stay at his house so he isn't alone.

When Jack goes out to pick up the children, Rainie Branning is suspicious and begins to quiz Mel. Later on, Jack is unable to repair the window and insists on staying at Mel's.

Mel starts to next day by making breakfast but Jack puts two and two together and realises she just wants him to let her keep the house. Jack then offers to put CCTV cameras in Mel's home but she snaps at him annoyed that her plan hasn't worked.

After collecting her share of the cash from Phil's money laundering scheme, Mel arranges to meet up with Jack to discuss the CCTV and makes sure he sees her counting the wad of money from Phil.

Jack is intrigued when Mel reveals the money is from some forgotten shares – she's secretly pleased that he's taken the bait. She then shocks Jack even further when she suggests they go into business together…

Jack can't keep his eyes off Mel when she talks to Gray - secretly hoping to make Jack jealous. Gray reminds her that she's married and later on Mel apologies to Jack for crossing the line.

Meanwhile Bex things about her future and opens up to her dad about the prospect of university before confessing she doesn't want to go.

She's then horrified when she discovers Martin Fowler has taken shifts at the chippy to help pay for her fees.

Following their discussion, Sonia and Martin ask Kush Kazemi to give Bex a dress from his stall so she can look the part for her Oxford Exchange Day.

As Bex struggles with all the pressure from her mum and her teacher, she sneaks out of the university event and bumps into a girl named Ellie.

Martin continues to wind Kush up about living with Mo Slater. He then gives Bex money for a night away, after she failed to get the results she wanted in a practice test, and after a row with Louise she gets drunk and joins Callum Highway and Whitney Carter at the E20. A worried Kush tries to check on Bex.

Meanwhile over to the Slater household and Stacey is left feeling hurt when Jean Slater refuses to return home. She's then left gobsmacked when Shirley Carter admits that all Jean wants to do is see Sean.

Stacey deliberates calling Sean but has a change of heart and it's not long before she reflects on her phone call. Kat Moon senses Stacey is missing Jean so she hatches a plan to get all the Slaters together at Kush's house – he's not impressed.

Things take a U-turn when a guilty Stacey reveals she's spoken to Sean. Kat doesn't hold back or bit her tongue and is quick to have a go at her.

Mo has the difficult task of getting rid of some dodgy Easter eggs. When Jean helps the Slaters with the Easter egg hunt, Stacey feels guilty when her mum mentions Sean. Kat doesn't help the situation when she says Stacey should have never called Sean.

Elsewhere Mitch slips off work early to help Dinah but when he arrives with Bailey, Keegan and Chantelle Atkins they all are stunned to find Dinah in a worrying situation.

Karen Taylor tells Mitch off for shirking his responsibilities with Bailey and then she worries when Keegan asks if he can borrow some money… Luckily he is quick to reassure her and ends up surprising Bailey and Dinah with lunch.

Bailey is left feeling alarmed when she overhears Keegan and her mum discussing what will happen if Dinah moves into a home.

It's finally time for the salon to open and Denise Fox, Kim Fox and Mitch get preparing. Denise begins to worry her sister has bitten off more than she can chew.

On the opening day of the salon, the customers are slow but Denise tries to remain positive. Rainie is annoyed by Kim's salon treatments and luckily Chantelle rescues the situation – much to the dismay of Kim.

Before any of that drama can happen, here's what's happening on EastEnders this week...

Jay and Lola rekindle their relationship and as sparks begin to fly they kiss in E20 - but how will the rest of their family react?
