EastEnders spoilers: Jean Slater's cancer fears

She panics in the hospital...

Coming up in EastEnders, the Slaters have been through a lot but next week Jean Slater has a cancer scare.

After visiting the hospital she ends up panicking before the doctors have said anything and when they reassure her not to worry until the results come back - Jean flees the scene before the biopsy.

She then decides to live in the here and now and ends up deleting the voicemail from the doctor...

Meanwhile the Carters worry about Tina Carter not showing up for her hearing. Gray Atkins continues to manipulate the situation - will they see through his lies?

Elsewhere Linda Carter seeks the help of Max Branning and Shirley Carter overhears a conversation between Mick and Katy Lewis.

Dotty Branning throws a party, Peter Beale is caught by Suki Panesar and Denise Fox confronts Phil Mitchell.

And Martin Fowler attempts to make things right with Ruby.

EastEnders spoilers: Monday 11 - Friday 15 January 2021

Jean worries that her cancer is back and begins to panic at the hospital, but her doctor reassures her not to worry and to wait for the results to come back.

But when the doctor returns to take her for the test- Jean has left. Jean later makes it clear that she's living in the here and now.

After deleting the voicemails from her doctor, Jean vows to have fun and makes a huge decision.

The Carter family begin to worry that Tina won't show up to her hearing but Gray reassures them that Tina might surprise them. He later sends a text message from her phone...

Shirley continues to search for Tina, Mick is shocked when he discovers Tina's text message and Linda decides to try and help out by messaging Max.

Gray's patience begins to wear thin with Karen looking after the kids. He's even more annoyed when Bernie Taylor wants a job at the call centre - with Kheerat.

Meanwhile Frankie tells her mum she deserves everything that's coming to her. Katy is then horrified when the police come knocking.

Katy sneaks out and shows up at Mick's who tell her to leave. However Katy then begins to manipulate the situation...

Before long, Mick tells Katy some home truths but they're stunned when Shirley arrives...

Linda is determined to fix things when Mick worries about other people knowing what happened to him.

Shirley is shocked when she discovers Linda has known about Mick for a while. Linda tells her mum-in-law that they need to be there for Mick.

Later, when Max spots Linda in The Vic, he's desperate to know what's going on and why they ended their relationship.

Dotty invists Ash and Iqra to a party and when Ash discovers Peter will be there, she agrees.

Suki interrupts the party and when Ash Panesar, Tiffany Butcher and Keegan Taylor hurry out - Peter Beale remains.

Sheree tells Isaac she cannot face losing another husband... Elsewhere Patrick assures Denise he didn't want Lucas to get hurt.

Denise confronts Phil but he is thrown when he explains he only talked to Lucas Johnson.

Meeting Lucas and Chelsea later, Denise warns him that someone else is after him. Not wanting to put his daughter at harm, Lucas agrees to leave.

Ruby isn't pleased when Martin tells her that he might be visiting Sonia and Bex.

Later, Martin sees Sharon Mitchell with Albie and confides that he's questioning his relationship but her words leave Martin determined to make things right with Ruby.

Kush Kazemi threatens Stacey Fowler and tells her if she calls the police she'll never see her son again.

Meanwhile Ruby Allen makes a snap admission in an attempt to keep hubby Martin Fowler close…

Jack Branning has some good news for Denise Fox and it's not long before sparks start to fly... But they're unaware that someone is watching them.

Sonia Fowler continues to have hard time at work and following an insensitive comment, she breaks down in tears - she's had enough.

Gray Atkins tells Karen Taylor that he wants his kids back for good - how will she react to her grandchildren moving out?

And while Linda Carter hopes she's made the right decision, Denise is in for another shock.
