EastEnders spoilers: Gray Atkins violent streak returns

He's back from his honeymoon and furious at his wife...

Coming up in EastEnders, Gray and Chantelle Atkins return from their honeymoon and he’s eager for her to take a pregnancy test.

Later when Chantelle helps Jags Panesar with his shopping – Gray secretly watches from afar. He’s then left annoyed by his wife’s attitude and ends up hurting her again.

Elsewhere Billy Mitchell is left frustrated by his ex-wife Honey but later following a turn of events he discovers her secret – she has an eating disorder.

Following the explosive drama over Christmas and New Year, Ben Mitchell and Louise Mitchell continue to be at odds.

Meanwhile, Whitney Dean is shocked again by Leo King, Vinny Panesar and Keegan Baker run into a spot of bother and Jean Slater is annoyed at Mo Slater.

EastEnders spoilers: Tuesday 7th– Friday 10 January 2020

The week begins with Gray and Chantelle returning from their honeymoon. Gray suggests she take another pregnancy test but when she points out it's too early he leads her upstairs and says they should try for another baby…

Later Kat Moon almost drops herself in it when she tells Gray about the New Year's party but manages to quickly cover.

Over at the salon everyone is ecstatic when Chantelle returns. She later bumps into Jags who reveals he's moved to the Square with his family.

While Chantelle helps Jags with his shopping, an unimpressed Gray watches on. He later questions his wife about her relationship with Jags.

After taking a pregnancy test and discovering that it's negative, Gray is agitated by Chantelle's attitude. He grabs her wrist and pulls her closer… it's clear Chantelle is in pain.

The next day Gray begins quizzing Chantelle about Jags again which prompts her to keep her distance from the Panesar family.

After Karen Taylor tells the rest of her family about Chantelle's accident, Keegan and Bailey Baker rush over to see their sister.

Chantelle is on edge – following Gray's attitude – and things get even more tense when Jags arrives with his older brother and tries to flirt with her.

Kheerat arrives and it's the final straw for Chantelle – she abruptly asks everyone to leave. Later keen to keep Gray happy, Chantelle is purposely rude to Kheerat.

There's tension between Karen and Billy when she tests him. When Jay Brown overhears he reminds billy of his loyalty… Karen is then left devastated by Billy's actions.

Karen slams Honey when she discovers Janet Mitchell isn't taking part in the pageant. She later has a change of heart and Billy is shocked when Lola Pearce reveals Karen was behind it all.

Billy pays Karen a visit and thanks her. On the day of the beauty pageant he asks Karen to go with him.

Janet wows the judges with her performance but Billy struggles to hide his frustration with Honey.


Karen and Bailey tease Mitch about his life love and it prompts him to ask Honey out on a date. During their date, Mitch asks Honey why she's just eating a salad.

Honey is left devastated when she overhears Mitch bad mouthing her to Bernadette Taylor and Bailey… Later, Honey tries to keep up appearances and makes food for herself in front of Billy and the kids.

When Billy tries to reason with her, Honey shuts down his questions. When Lola spots Billy researching eating disorders, he is forced to tell her about Honey.

Billy then blames himself for not realising how Honey has been suffering – he decides he's going to help her.



Over to the Mitchell household and Louise is tired of constantly arguing with Ben and decides to take Denny Rickman to the café when her brother begins to vent about Sharon.

Louise starts to feel uncomfortable when Karen approaches to see baby Peggy and then Sharon arrives.

Louise opens up to Lisa about looking after Peggy. She then turns on Ben when he shares some harsh words and begins to talk about Sharon again.

Later on Ben reassures Louise and takes her and Peggy to the pageant where they are joined by the Taylors, Billy, Lola and Honey.

Ben is left elated when Lexi Mitchell performs a dance especially for him. Phil later discovers Ben has split from Callum Highway when his son says he's going out on a date.

Lola is left buzzing when Denise Fox asks her to manage the salon.

Whitney is shocked when she discovers there's a new stallholder joining the market – Leo King. On Leo's first day, Martin Fowler and Kush Kazemi warn him to stay out of everyone's way.

Leo later tries to talk to Whitney in the café but she storms off. She's then startled when he arrives at her house and asks for a change to explain everything.

Vinny Panesar gets involved in Keegan's business but is stunned when he discovers Iqra Ahmed is his business partner.

Vinny helps Keegan get his moped and the pair head off, but they don't get very far because they're quickly stopped in their tracks.

They rush to Gray's office to deliver the sandwiches but are unimpressed when Gray reveals their lateness has cost them.

Vinny tries to explain the situation but Keegan stops him – adamant that Gray can't find out… A deflated Keegan and Vinny return home and they're quick to tell Tiffany Baker what happened.

Jean is left unenthused when Mo suggests a séance to speak to Daniel…
