EastEnders spoilers: Ben Mitchell blackmails Martin Fowler

It doesn't take Ben long to find out Martin's back...

Next week in EastEnders, Martin Fowler returns to Walford following Bex Fowler's heartbreaking ordeal. It doesn't take long for Ben Mitchell to find out he's back on the Square and before long he's blackmailing Martin into helping him out. Martin asks Ben to let Stacey Fowler return home - but what will he say?

Meanwhile Rainie Branning tries to get a job at the cafe but when things get tough she turns to booze... It's not long before Kathy Beale turns on her and tells her she's ruined things with baby Abi.

Bailey Baker discovers something shocking about Karen Taylor, there's tension between Honey Mitchell and Adam Bateman and Jean Slater receives some devastating news about Daniel.

EastEnders spoilers: Monday 7 – Friday 11 October 2019

Sonia is shocked when she spots Martin by Bex's bedside in the hospital. She's unaware of all the drama with the Mitchells and ends up dishing him some home truths about not being there for their daughter.

Later while talking with Kush they both agree it's best for Martin to leave the Square because he can't be seen by Ben.

However when it's time for Bex to leave the hospital, Sonia begs Martin to stay. After a heart to heart with Bex back in Walford he decides to stay.

Meanwhile, Ben is desperately trying to pay the money back to Kheerat and he begins to worry he's being watched… As he heads outside to see if anyone is watching him he spots Martin across the Square.

The next day Martin asks Ben to let Stacey Fowler come home but while he's contemplating the idea he gets a phone call from Jags – he's kidnapped Lola Pearce. A worried Ben tells Martin his slate will be wiped clean if he helps get Lola back.

Later, Martin is furious when Ben goes back on his word about letting Stacey come home. Ben then insists Martin finds Kheerat the car – or he'll had the wrench into the police.

While Martin and Sonia try their best to support Bex during her meeting with a mental health nurse, Ben piles on the pressure for Martin. Things take a turn for the worse when Ben plays a nasty trick… Martin decides to confront Ben.

Jean and Kat Moon are over the moon to see Martin but Jean is upset when she finds out Stacey isn't here. Tension between Martin and Ben reaches breaking point and it's not long before they're at each other's throats. Will Martin be able to convince Ben to let Stacey come home?

Elsewhere on the Square, Rainie is desperate for cash and asks Kathy for a job in the café. Despite Ian's reluctance she agrees to give her a trial. Things don't get off to the best start and when Ian returns he tells her she's lost her chance.

A distraught Rainie turns to alcohol but when she spots a supportive note from Stuart Highway she gets rid of the booze. She later starts to crumble under pressure.

When Kathy arrives with baby Abi and sees the state Rainie is in, she jumps to conclusions and thinks she's been drinking and is furious. She's quick to tell her that she's lost her chance with Abi.

The next day Rainie sees a glimmer of hope when Max asks her to watch Abi but following an incident in the park, he takes Abi back home – Rainie is gutted.

Later on, when Max tells Kathy what happened he's taken aback when she then reveals Rainie is addicted to painkillers again. Despite this, Max is willing to give Rainie the benefit of the doubt.

Kathy decides to do some digging and asks Callum about her progress. When Stuart discovers Kathy is asking about Rainie, he warns her to back off if she wants to be part of Abi's life.

Kathy is then alarmed when a police officer reveals that drug use at The Prince Albert is rising and she's at risk of losing the licence unless she gets it under control.


Wanting to believe Rainie has changed; Kathy decides to pays her a visit and tests her…A furious Stuart storms over to the Beale's and confronts Kathy for what she did to Rainie.

Over to the Taylor household and Karen is touched when Bailey reveals she wants Karen to become her legal guardian. However later on, Bailey overhears Karen talking to Mitch about Dinah.

Bailey is devastated when she discovers Karen knew that her mum wanted to take her own life. When Karen agrees to adopt Bailey, she is left devastated when Bailey confronts her about what happened with Dinah

The next day Bailey goes missing so the Taylor family gather together to try and find her. They're relieved when Tiffany Butcher brings her to Gray and Chantelle Aktin's house.

With Bailey missing, the Taylors rally round to find her and are relieved when Tiffany brings her to Gray and Chantelle's.

The next day Chantelle is worried when Gray disappears for the night but when he returns he reveals he stayed at work for the night and the two make amends.

Later on, Jack and a colleague arrive to question Gray about the night before. Jack then asks Gray about a fight he was involved with at a night club.

Over to the Ahmed household and when Arshad talks to Mariam about her behaviour towards Iqra, he is stunned to discover the truth – she was mugged.

When Arshad tells Adam about what happened to Mariam, Honey suggests they host a dinner for her. Things get awkward when Habiba confronts Honey about Adam's behaviour and tells her she deserves better. At the meal, Mariam apologises to Iqra and assures her she's proud of her.

The next day Honey plans a day out with Adam but when he rushes off to work, she's left to question his honesty… Later he surprises her with a romantic indoor picnic.

Back at the Ahmeds, Iqra is sick of hearing Arshad praising Adam so she decides to drop a bombshell - he cheated on Honey with Habiba.

Daniel and Jean spend the day together and grow even closer. However the next day she receives some devastating news – Daniel has died.

Kush grows concerned about Jean's complacent reaction and as they open up and talk to each other, he manages to make Jean see how much Daniel meant to her.

Later Kush supports Jean at Daniel's memorial as his neighbour, Mike, hosts the service.

Viewers have known for months that Bex Fowler has been secretly struggling and as the start of university approaches, she makes a life changing decision.

Elsewhere on the Square, Ben Mitchell and Callum Highway's date doesn’t go according to plan and things get even worse when Jonno returns.

Also Denise Fox is suspicious of Wanda, Mel Owen continues to pressure Sharon Mitchell and Jean Slater tries to cheer up Daniel.
