Since it first hit our TV screens way back in 2004, The X Factor has had some iconic judges, including the likes of Cheryl, Louis Tomlinson, Gary Barlow, Tulisa, Sharon Osbourne, Rita Ora, Nicole Scherzinger and many more famous names.

Now, after Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda sensationally quit the show, it is being reported that Dannii Minogue could be about to make an iconic return to the panel.

Dannii, who appeared on the The X Factor panel between 2007 and 2010, is reportedly 'in talks' with bosses to appear on Simon Cowell's All-Star version of the show, in an attempt to revive the ratings.

A TV source has explained how bosses are very keen to get Dani back on the panel, adding that her 'chemistry' with the other judges was always great.

According to reports, Simon is in talks with Dannii, and he think she'd be a great addition to the new series.

Check out what The X Factor winners are up to now:

Steve Brookstein, series one, 2004

Things went downhill super quickly after the high of winning the first ever series of The X Factor, and Steve's still bitter… even now, 12 years later. He's written a book about it called Getting Over The X. Come on now Steve, perhaps you should give it a read.
These days he's more into childish rants on Twitter about, well, pretty much everything except making music. He did release an album in 2014, and just to show he's moved on he called it Forgotten Man. It didn't chart.

As well as Dani, the annual rumour that Cheryl will return is also doing the rounds, however, it is also being rumoured that she could be about to replace Dame Darcy Bussell on the Strictly Come Dancing panel.

The news comes after Simon Cowell decided to cancel the usual series of The X Factor in 2019, instead replacing it with two special editions.

According to reports, the brand new All Stars series will see both successful and memorable contestants from all of the past series go head-to-head, in an attempt to find the 'ultimate' X Factor star.

At this point in time, it's not been confirmed which past contestants will be taking part, or who will be on the judging panel. 👀
