Sunday night's Dancing On Ice final saw one of the biggest shocks in the show's history, when former EastEnders actor Joe Swash beat Diversity star Perri Kiely to be crowned the winner, despite Perri performing a BACKFLIP on the rink.

Although Perri was the favourite to win, ITV have now released the final voting figures, which show it was a two-horse race throughout the final.

After Paralympic athlete Libby Clegg was eliminated in third place, she received just 15.31% of the vote, whilst Joe had 43.20% and Perri had 41.48%.

When the lines were re-opened after the boys performed their own spin on Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's Bolero, the votes were even tighter, with Joe pipping the title by receiving 50.53%, to Perri's 49.47%.

It was certainly a close one!

Meanwhile, Joe's girlfriend Stacey Solomon was quick to gush about her man's shock win to her fans on Instagram.

Sharing an adorable snap of herself, Joe and Rex laying down on the floor, Stacey told fans, 'Honestly can't believe it... Hoe (Joe) did it 🤣 How did this happen? 🤣 Seriously though... to anyone who voted, thank you.'

Stacey continued, 'Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. He put his heart and soul into DOI and has worked so hard. It meant the world to him & to us. We are so proud of you Joe. We love you.' (sic)

Joe Swash had an incredible journey on the show, starting his Dancing On Ice experience at the bottom half of the leaderboard in Week One, after barely being able to stand up on the ice during his first training session.

Despite this, his hard work and determination was rewarded with a perfect score for his silent movie inspired comedic skate in the final.

Joe thanked everyone saying, "I never thought I'd get to a final, never mind everything I've had to do. I'm so proud of myself and so glad my boys are here to see it".

Dancing On Ice is expected to return to ITV in early 2021.
