After nine amazing weeks, the final of ITV entertainment show Dancing On Ice took place tonight (Sunday 12th March), as finalists Joey Essex, The Vivienne, and Nile Wilson battled it out to become the 2023 winner.

Following their amazing performances on the night, Joey Essex and Vanessa Bauer, Olivia Smart and Nile Wilson, and The Vivienne and Colin Grafton, waited patiently for the results from the public vote, with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield delivering the all-important news.

Who won Dancing On Ice?

WINNER: Nile Wilson and Olivia Smart

SECOND PLACE: Joey Essex and Vanessa Bauer

THIRD PLACE: The Vivienne and Colin Grafton

The final saw each couple perform a number of routines, with Nile becoming the first male celebrity to do the infamous headbanger move.

For the first routines, which were choregraphed by skating legends Torvill and Dean, judges Ashley Banjo, Oti Mabuse, Jayne Torvill, and Christopher Dean gave all three finalists the maximin score of 40/40.

The second routine, dubbed 'The Battle', saw all three couples on the ice together at the same time, performing a dramatic routine to the track 'Survivor' by Destiny's Child.

Following a quick cameo from last year's finalists Brendan Cole and Regan Gascoigne, Holly and Phillip announced The Vivienne had finished in third place, meaning Joey and Nile would be going on to perform the iconic Bolero.

Nile and Olivia were up first with the Bolero, bringing their own twist whilst incorporating the classic choreography, and getting the judges emotional.

Joey and Vanessa were up next, showing both passion and emotion during their routine, which was also met by praise from the four judges.
