In what was one of the closest finals in the show's history, Regan Gascoigne was crowned the 2022 winner of Dancing On Ice ahead of Brendan Cole and Kimberley Wyatt.

When was the Dancing On Ice final in 2022?

The Dancing On Ice final was due to take place on Sunday 20th March, however, it was later postponed by ITV for the Quarter Final of the FA Cup.

The final would took place on Sunday 27th March.

Which professional skaters were on Dancing On Ice 2022?

On Tuesday 26th October, bosses announced the line-up of professional dancers for the 2022 series, which included three brand new dancers.

World class competitive figure skaters Morgan Swales, Tippy Packard and Colin Grafton will join the show, with Matt Evers, Łukasz Różycki, Andy Buchanan, Robin Johnstone, Mark Hanretty, Brendyn Hatfield, Vanessa Bauer, Karina Manta, Joe Johnson and reigning champion pro Angela Egan will also return.

The 2022 series of Dancing On Ice kicked off at 6.30pm on Sunday 16th January.

Who hosted Dancing On Ice in 2022?

Lovable hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were once again back for the 2022 series.

The pair, who originally hosted the popular show between 2006-2010, before Christine Lampard took over from Holly between 2012-2014, have been fan favourites for a number of years.

However, after testing positive for COVID-19, Philip was forced to miss Week Four of the 2022 series Dancing On Ice, as he was at home self-isolating.

Popular presenter Stephen Mulhern was drafted in to host alongside Holly Willoughby on Sunday 6th February.

Who was on the Dancing On Ice judging panel in 2022?

After a long wait, the judging panel for the new series was finally announced, and there was one brand new face - Strictly pro Oti Mabuse! She joined fellow judges Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Speaking of her move, Oti said: “As a professional dancer I have always had so much respect for the skating professionals on Dancing On Ice.

"It is an exceptional skill that is also so beautiful to watch. I'm feeling really enthusiastic about joining the panel alongside the legendary Torvill and Dean and Ashley Banjo. I can't wait to see the celebrities thrive as they learn how to ice-skate and to champion the professional skaters as they create incredible choreography.”

Oti replaced former judge John Barrowman.

An ITV spokesperson said: "We thank John Barrowman for two brilliant years on the Dancing On Ice panel and are pleased to be working with him again as host of the forthcoming All Star Musicals specials."

Dancing On Ice will return to ITV in January 2023.
