Courteney Cox seems to be doing exactly what we’re doing during lockdown - watching Friends. The actress, who played Monica in the hit sitcom, has revealed that she is binge-watching the show to get through the coronavirus pandemic.

"I decided during this time - people love the show so much - I decided to binge-watch Friends," she said, speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!'s at-home YouTube show on Wednesday. "I just started season 1. It's really good!"

However, don’t count her on now suddenly being an expert in Friends trivia, "I don’t even remember even being on the show. I have such a bad memory," she said. "I remember loving obviously everybody there, and having fun, and I remember certain times in my life that I was there.

"But I don’t remember episodes. I would never pass. I fail every test." She wasn’t joking either, as she took a quiz about Monica’s time on the show against Kimmel’s cousin - and was beaten 5-0.

Unfortunately for audiences though, the Friends reunion has been put on hold due to the pandemic. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the HBO Max unscripted special was due to be filmed last week at the Warner Bros Studio lot in Burbank, California.

However, production has now reportedly been delayed until at least May - though obviously that’s subject to change. Sob. The episode - starring the original cast Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, Courteney, David Schwimmer, Lisa Kudrow - was officially announced last month, with the cast confirming it on social media.
