Poor Yasmeen Nazir has been suffering at the hands of her abusive husband, Geoff Metcalfe, for months on Coronation Street, and every time it looks as though she's gathering the strength to leave, Geoff knocks her back again.

But after a particularly traumatic evening where Geoff forces Yasmeen to wear a sexy dress he'd bought for one of his many escorts, Yasmeen finally hits boiling point: enough is enough.

What will she do?

Geoff humiliates Yasmeen for the last time

Elsewhere, Gary Windass gets wind of what Rick Neelan's ex, Claire, is after and has a strong word of warning for her.

Daniel Osbourne returns home with Bertie from his grief retreat, and Asha Alahan begs her dad Dev to withdraw his complaint from the school.

At the doctor's surgery, Yasmeen is horrified when Dr Gaddas tells her she has chlamydia. Yasmeen finally plucks up the courage to confront Geoff about the escorts he's been seeing.

A huge argument ensues, and when Geoff storms from the house he checks his house security cameras to see Yasmeen packing a bag to leave him. Arriving home to catch her in the act, Geoff confiscates her phone and locks her in the house.

While she's locked in, Sally calls to Yasmeen over the garden fence and invites her to celebrate the re-opening of the Bistro. As they get ready to leave, Geoff eyes Yasmeen's dress and gives her a tacky, revealing red number to wear instead.

Yasmeen follows Geoff to the pub, feeling self conscious in the dress. At the Rovers, Sally and Tim raise a toast to them and when Geoff offers to pay for their wedding in full, Yasmeen is shocked.

Back at home, a vicious Geoff spitefully tells Yasmeen that he bought the dress for one of his many escorts, leaving Yasmeen humiliated.

A huge row ensues, and Geoff gradually works himself up into a blind rage, eventually pulling a knife on Yasmeen who fears for her life.

Desperate to get away from Geoff alive, Yasmeen reaches for a wine bottle from the work surface and smashes it across Geoff's face. As Geoff sinks to the floor, what has Yasmeen done?

Elsewhere, Kelly's mum, and Rick's ex, Claire arrives at the furniture shop looking to talk to Gary. A scheming Gary pretends he's been in touch with Rick and tells Claire he knows he's still paying Kelly's school fees.

Claire is shaken when Gary points out that if Rick ever finds out she's been pocketing the money for herself, he'll kill her. When Maria spots Claire leaving the shop, she's suspicious.

Meanwhile, Daniel returns back to Weatherfield and brings Bertie along to catch up with Ken at the café.

Ken is eager to hear all about the grief retreat that Daniel has been away at and is relieved to see it seems to have had a positive impact on Daniel's mood.

With Claire having fled town after Gary's thinly veiled threats, Kelly meets up with Summer and Billy at the café.

When Summer realises that Kelly's mum has abandoned her, she takes pity on her and Billy agrees to let her stay with them at the flat.

Now let's recap on everything that's happening this week.

After a naked video of Asha Alahan gets leaked and makes it way around the school, her brother Aadi sees red when he spots some lads pointing and laughing at her.

Before anyone can stop him, Aadi is beating up one of the boys.

Later on, Dev finds out about the video and has to decide whether he will honour his promise to Asha not to report it to the police.

Dan returns home with Bertie

Elsewhere, Carla Connor and Pete Barlow agree to look after The Rovers while Jenny and Johnny Connor go to France to visit a family member.

But Jenny doesn't realise that Johnny has an ulterior motive for getting away.

Meanwhile, Ken Barlow is convinced he's got enough evidence to out conmon Charlie at the Stillwater retirement home and Gary Windass gets to the bottom of why Kelly Neelan got kicked out of school.
