CHECK OUT: Coronation Street Monday 1 - Friday 5 February
After Todd's meddling, an unsuspecting Summer arrives home to the empty flat and is frightened when she realises someone is already there.
Not recognising the boy smashing up their belongings, Summer makes a run for it and in her panic runs across the road without looking.
As Summer runs in front of a passing car, she realises too late what's happened and is instantly knocked to the ground in the street.
Returning home from a drink with Todd following Paul's court hearing, Billy, Paul and Todd are horrified to see Summer lying in the street.
Launching into action, Billy calls the emergency services and soon after, an ambulance arrives for Summer while Craig starts looking into the break-in.
But when Paul admits that he thinks the intruder could have been Will, Billy fumes at him for bringing him into their lives and a guilty Todd looks on.
With Summer returned safely from hospital, Billy and Paul launch into dad mode as Paul tries to hide the tension between them from her.
But it's clear Billy blames Paul for what happened to Summer and is struggling to forgive him for putting their lives in danger.
Elsewhere, Peter heads over the pub for some lunch but it's clear the smell of booze and frivolity is far too much as he races home.
Shortly after, Caroline arrives back home and is horrified to find Peter sweating profusely and on the brink of another seizure.
Soon she wheedles out of him that he's not been taking his medicinal alcohol, and after she stresses the dangers of going cold turkey, he necks the small measure of whiskey.
During Asha's trial shift at the café after school, Corey turns up outside and begs her to hear him out, but she's having none of it.
As Asha confidently spells out to Corey that he's d-u-m-p-e-d, Nina watches on impressed and back inside there's a charged moment between them.
Their reverie is broken when Roy arrives back at the café and tells Asha she's got the job, leaving both girls over the moon.
Meanwhile, Asha's twin Aadi is making headway on his own career and Dev is quietly impressed when he suggests adding groceries to their delivery service.
Arriving at the Kabin dressed for business, Aadi tells Evelyn he'll be conducting her progress review that afternoon. leaving Evelyn unimpressed.
Back home Evelyn's been having her own issues and tells Tyrone it's time to ask Alina to move out as there's enough women at number 9 as it is.
Tyrone bites the bullet and tells her he's spoken to Debbie and arranged for her to move back into the salon flat, as Fiz glares at him.
Elsewhere, Imran pays a visit to Leanne and tentatively asks if she thinks she'll be ready to return to work any time soon, leaving Leanne shaken.
As Imran insists she's to take all the time she needs, a panicked Leanne is floored by the pressure and immediately resigns.
Feeling the financial strain more than ever after Leanne struggles to find money for the meter, Simon confides in his new pal from the chippy, Jacob.
A sympathetic Jacob offers to lend Simon £60, which Simon gratefully accepts. Later on Simon arrives home laden with shopping and tells Leanne all about his new mate Jacob.
The next day Simon turns up at the chip shop for his delivery round and rushes in to say hello to his new friend, leaving his bike outside the shop.
When he heads back out moment later he's shocked to find his bikes been stolen and panics about how he'll earn money now.
Thankfully, Jacob jumps to the rescue again and tells Simon he's got a spare bike he could use. When Simon introduces Jacob to Kelly, she's tight lipped.
Later on, Simon wants to thank Jacob for being such a good mate to him and admits he and Leanne wouldn't have managed without him.
Just as Simon heads off to begin his round, Jacob goes to take the chips off him and tells him he won't be needing them, as he's got a different kind of delivery for him. Simon's heart sinks.
But first, here's everything coming up on Corrie this week...
Following weeks of worrying his family after turning once more to the bottle, Peter Barlow finally admits that he doesn't want to die and though he wants to stop drinking, doesn't know how.
Buoyed by Peter's confession, his girlfriend Carla Connor once more begs him to let her support him in his sobriety.
But with a seemingly impossible task ahead of him and his emotions in bits, Peter still can't find it in himself to accept her help.
Is this the end for Peter and Carla?
Meanwhile, Aggie Bailey still isn't on board with Grace Vickers moving into number three and tells her as much, as soon as they're alone together.
But Michael Bailey is determined for his family to be together and tells Aggie to like it, or lump it.
Elsewhere, Debbie Webster is full of excuses about why she was involved with Abi Franklin's injury and denies knowing anything about Ray Crosby's dodgy dealings, and Gail Platt embarks on a journey into her past.
