With Shona and Clayton Hibbs' still holed up in the warehouse, everyone is on tenterhooks as armed police surround the building next week in Coronation Street. When Shona staggers out of the building covered in blood and collapses, David thinks the Kylie Platt nightmare is happening all over again.

Later on at his surprise birthday party, Seb can't hide his contempt for Gary Windass and squares up to him, resulting in a scuffle that could cost him his job. Seb isn't the only person Gary has got on the wrong side of – Carla Connor refuses to give in to his demands for more money, and says she won't have the roof fixed until it's absolutely necessary.

Across the cobbles, things get awkward when Seb turns up at Sarah's place and bursts in on her in the bath. Elsewhere, Michelle Connor tries to convince Robert Preston that she's still desperate for a baby, but nothing prepares them for shocking turn of events...
