Coronation Street spoilers: Michael Bailey charged with child abduction
Coming up next week on Corrie
Next week on Coronation Street, Michael Bailey decides to use his sales bonus at work to make a grand gesture for Grace and his daughter Tianna, getting down on one knee and proposing.
But when he learns that Grace is planning on moving to Spain, he takes drastic action and ends up getting arrested when he's accused of child abduction by his ex.
Will the police be understanding of his plight?
Elsewhere, Leanne Battersby and Steve McDonald are devastated to learn the German surgeon won't operate on Oliver Battersby because his condition is too severe - not least because Steve has already organised selling his businesses.
But Nick Tilsley has other things on his mind, having recently discovered he has a son with ex-girlfriend Blakeman.
Meanwhile, Abi Franklin goes to fight her friend Peter Barlow's corner and Daniel Osbourne finally admits to his crimes.
CHECK OUT Coronation Street Monday 28 September - Friday 2 October
After telling his dad that he intends to use his sales bonus on "something special" for Grace and Tianna, Micheal gets down on one knee and proposes to Grace.
A stunned Grace breaks the news to Micheal that she's planning on moving to Spain with Tianna, leaving Micheal heartbroken.
Later on, Grace turns up at number 3 in hysterics, saying Michael has taken Tianna. Ed heads out and finds Michael with the baby in Victoria gardens.
Micheal arrives home but the police are already there and bring him in for questioning under charges of child abduction.
A distraught Michael explains that he didn't mean any harm and just couldn't bare the thought of losing his daughter. Will the police be lenient?
Elsewhere, Abi gets wind that Carla and Pete's relationship is on the brink of breaking down and arrives at Carla's office to fight his corner.
Abi fights his corner, insisting that nothing is going on between them but that Peter is heading for a relapse and Carla should be understanding.
Carla is dismissive, realising communication has broken down between them. In a bid to mask her own problems, Carla turns to fixing Sarah and Adam's relationship instead.
Following a heartfelt chat with Carla, Sarah arrives at the solicitors office to speak to Adam about getting back together. What will he say?
Meanwhile, Geoff runs into Daniel and Adam at the shop and lays into them, insisting he's going to the police now that he knows Alya couldn't have taken his money.
Following the confrontation, a suspicious Adam tells Daniel that he doesn't believe him and is going to look at the office CCTV cameras.
Later on, Daniel meets with Nicky in Victoria Gardens and she hands him back an envelope of money, explaining she didn't need it all.
Having witnessed the exchange from afar, Geoff has all the proof he needs and rings the police who arrest Daniel on suspicion of theft.
At the police station, Daniel finally cracks and admits that he stole Geoff's envelope of cash and gave it to Nicky in a bid to get her out of prostitution.
The police deliver the news to Geoff that Daniel has confessed but is willing to pay the money back. Geoff is adamant that he still wants Daniel charged.
Elsewhere, Leanne and Steve meet with the consultant who breaks the news that having reviewed Oliver's condition, the doctor is unwilling to operate.
Leanne is furious, adamant that the German doctors have completely abandoned Oliver after they went to such great lengths to secure the surgery.
Meanwhile, Steve is crestfallen having already arranged cash sales of both Street Cars and the florist to pay for the procedure.
But Nick is distracted. Having been passed on a letter from Sam, his son, Nick tells Natasha he's changed his mind and wants to meet him.
Natasha brings Sam round to Nick's flat to meet his dad, and Nick is conflicted as he learns about Sam's love of astronomy.
Later on, Nick confides in David that he's met his son but that he doesn't want a relationship, adding he doesn't need extra complication in his life.
David is sympathetic about everything Nick is going through with Leanne and Oliver, but urges him to consider the needs of his biological son.
But first, here's what's happening this week on the cobbles....
After spotting Abi Franklin and Peter Barlow together a number of times, Debbie Webster is convinced their having an affair and tells her brother Kevin Webster.
But Debbie doesn't know the full extent of their relationship and when their 'affair' is exposed, how will they react?
Elsewhere, Daniel Osbourne assures Kirk Sutherland that a sex worker will never replace Sinead but later meets up with Nicky to ask if they can make a proper go of things.
Who's he lying to?
After finding a surgeon willing to operate on Oliver in Germany, Leanne panics about how they will afford it and Nick Tilsley makes the ultimate sacrifice.
