Steve arrives at the church with the wreaths for the funeral. Having take the hair sample for DNA testing, Steve explains to Emma that he is her real father.

After the funeral, a confused and upset Emma Skypes with her mum, Fiona, in Australia and wants to know why she was kept in the dark her whole life.

A shocked Yasmeen tells Geoff she doesn't want to be filmed at home, but Geoff accuses her of not caring about his feelings and declares it's over between them.

Later on at the Bistro as Geoff helps Yasmeen with her online banking, he drops into conversation that he's got a doctors appointment.

It's clear at the doctors that Geoff is fit as a flea - but when he sees Yasmeen later on he tells her they've taken blood samples for a heart murmur, leaving Yasmeen worried about him.

Aggie confronts Ed when her debit card is declined at the shop, accusing him of turning back to gambling and frittering away their money.

Ed dismisses it as just a cash flow glitch, but later on confides in Michael that they've fallen on hard times and that £5k should sort them out.

Michael convinces his dad to accept a loan from their football prodigy son James. But Aggie is suspicious and soon Ed breaks down, admitting that he's lost the money on betting sites.

Aggie is furious at her husband and has to get out of the house, heading to the café for sanctuary.

Noticing how rushed off his feet Roy is, and with thoughts of their lost money at the back of her mind, Aggie offers to help out around the café and Roy agrees to give her a trial shift.

Meanwhile, Michael is investing in his own money-making scheme, and on the way home from the shops Cerberus tugs on his shopping bag and a load of pregnancy tests spill out.

According to the Mirror, Sophie's aunt Debbie - sister of her dad Kevin Webster - will be returning with bad news for Kev. There's been a "death in the family", but that Debbie has been left a sizeable chunk of change and wants to share it around.

After Sophie hears her ex-girlfriend and current pal Kate Connor, whose wife Rana died on their wedding day, talking about her travelling plans, Sophie's ears prick up and she realises that the "perfect opportunity" has just fallen into her lap.

She'll ask her girlfriend Paula to go with her, but the source says that she'll decide against it at the "eleventh hour", leading Sophie to ask Kate to take her place.

This also fits in with Faye Brookes' plans to leave Corrie, as she announced in April 2019 that she would be quitting the soap as Kate Connor after four years.

Taking to Twitter, Faye wrote, 'Thanks to everyone for your amazing support, but after 4 fabulous years in Weatherfield it's time for me to explore new opportunities, I've loved playing Kate Connor, but she needs a break for a little while and so with a song in my heart I'm off to pastures new. #kana #corrie♥️.' sic

This comes after the news that Faye has split from her fiancé, Gareth Gates, after seven years together. A source close to the couple said, "Faye and Gareth are both extremely sad about their relationship ending. They still care very much about each other and want to remain friends, but the wedding has been called off. Her family and close friends have been supporting her through the split."
