Coronation Street: Robert Preston fights for Vicky Jefferies

Her ex is back on the scene!

Next week on Coronation Street, Robert Preston finds himself fighting for the other woman, Vicky Jefferies. But with Vicky left on the back burner for so long, and her ex Jed - Tylor's dad - back on the scene, is it too little too late from Robert?

Seb Franklin wants justice for Alina Pop but is efforts are intercepted by Rachel and Nikolai, and he ends up in hospital. But Eileen Grimshaw follows her nose and confronts the gang at the salon just in time – soon the police show up and Jan Lonzinski, Nikolai and Rachel are arrested.

Evelyn Plummer has been wreaking havoc at the corner shop, lowering the prices of bottles of wine she fancies for herself – and she's even making dodgy bets at the Rovers Return on the football! What is she up to?

Emma Brooks has some devastating news – her dad has been diagnosed with stomach cancer.

Seb is determined to expose the people trafficking ring in Weatherfield but with Alina refusing to speak to him in public, he has to come up with a plan...

When Jan finds out what Seb is up to, he rushes to the salon but gets there too late, and finds Seb knocked unconscious by Nikolai. Jan drops Seb to A&E before quickly skipping town.

Later on, when Jan receives a call from Eileen telling him Seb's at the hospital, he lies and says he was on a job in Birmingham.

With something still niggling at Eileen, she heads to the salon where she finds Jan, Nikolai and Rachel hastily packing away the fittings and fixtures into a van.

As tensions rise at the salon, Eileen's world comes crashing down as Jan tells her that he was using her as a pawn in their criminal ring. Soon Jan and Nikolai are fighting, and Nikolai smashes Eileen's phone so she can't call the police.

Just as Eileen is staring to seriously fear for her life, there's a thud and an armed police unit comes crashing into the salon, before taking Jan, Rachel and Nikolai away in their riot van.

After Eileen is released from questioning without charge, Abi explains that after Seb woke up in the hospital he called the police, leading to the raid at the nail bar that finally saw their arrests.

Worried that he's ruined things with both women for good, Robert turns up at Vicky's flat as she's packing her suitcase – and is confronted by Jed, Vicky's ex.

As the two men square up to each other, Vicky tells them to shut up and let her think, as it's her decision to make alone.

With Robert having played her around for too long, and Jed the father of her child, who will Vicky choose?

At the corner shop, Mary is horrified when she catches Evelyn lowering the prices of items she's had her eye on and wants to buy herself.

When she confronts Evelyn about her dodgy dealings and threatens to report her to Dev, Evelyn bars her from the shop!

Mary confides in Tim about what she caught Evelyn doing and asks him to do some snooping himself to collect more evidence.

Meanwhile, Gary is panicked when he returns to the furniture shop after leaving Ryan in charge and finds that two desks – with thousands of pounds in the drawers – have been sold.

Ryan assures Gary the desks have only gone to the florist, but when Gary speaks to Mary she confirms the drawers were empty when she bought them.

Meanwhile, Alya is thrilled when Ryan tells her he's sold some stuff and can afford to come to Copenhagen with her. When Alya let's this information slip to Gary, he knows that Ryan has been lying to him.

Sarah has bad news for the factory workers – the insurance company will only pay out £20k. With an idea sparked, Gary introduces Nick to one of Rick's business associates, Derek Milligan, as a new investor in the company.

Gary proposes that Derek buys the land, rebuild the factory and then rent the property out to Underworld – on the condition that he's in charge of any building work.

After a meeting at the Rovers, Sarah refuses to accept the offer and when Izzy finds out and tells the rest of the workers, they're furious that Sarah has put her feelings toward Gary above their jobs.

Meanwhile, Emma arrives back from visiting her dad in hospital and confides in Maria that he's been diagnosed with stomach cancer and that her mum, who lives in Australia, is refusing to come home to visit them.

When Evelyn finds out from James that the county football match is likely to be a flop as the Goalie's been taken ill, she sees it as another money-making opportunity.

Using the information to her advantage, Evelyn makes a £20 bet with Tim that the goal keeper won't even show up.

Ken finds himself feeling disappointed when Claudia announces that her luck has changed and she'll be moving out of his flat.

Rita comforts Ken by telling him that he and Claudia are due an honest chat about their feelings for one another, before they make a mistake.

Robert Preston can't keep his two world's (and women) separate any longer. When Tracy Barlow stumbles upon Robert and Vicky Jefferies in an embrace, everything falls into place as she thinks back to Steve McDonald's revelations last week.

Meanwhile, Seb Franklin is shocked to reveal the Alina Pop has been lying to him about her living situation and her job at the nail bar. When Seb confronts Jan Lozinski about his involvement, will he tell the truth?

Jenny Bradley is getting sick of Kate Connor moping round the house, but Johnny Connor doesn't want to be too hard on her. Soon Jenny is taking drastic measures to turn Kate out, and Johnny warns her not to make him pick sides.

Kevin Webster is secretly thrilled when Abi Franklin asks for her job at the garage back, and the two quickly slide back into their usual banterous routine.

But soon Sally Webster picks up on the chemistry between them, and wonders if there might be potential for more than friendship...
