Just like many of us, rapper Cardi B has taken to social media to express her love for psychological Netflix series You and has lapped up the third season already.

Cardi also admitted she’s got a huge crush on the actor who plays serial killer Joe Goldberg, who is played by Penn Badgley, who stars alongside Love Quinn, played by Victoria Pedretti.

Cardi and Penn even had a little Twitter love-in when Cardi B came across a video of Penn Badgley mentioning the rapper during the 2019 press run for the first season of You.

Chatting about how his character Joe reveals the unsettling nature of social media, Penn is seen commending those who can use it as a tool because they have authentic relationships with their audiences.

In the video, he says: “Cardi B is such a perfect example of that.

“She has such an authentic relationship and to me, it’s an incredibly nuanced place to be… and that’s why people like her so much.”

Responding to the video, Cardi hilariously went into fangirl mode, tweeting back: ‘OOOOMMFFFGGGGGG HE KNOWS ME !!!

‘OMMMGGGG!!!!!! Yoooo like I’m famous famous. (sic)'.

Penn then replied to her tweet, simply writing: ‘I–‘.

WARNING SPOILER FOR SEASON 3:

Cardi then went on to explain how she plans to write herself into the recently confirmed fourth season.

Without spoiling things too much, Joe Goldberg finds himself in Paris at the end of series three and Cardi has big plans to be featured.

The WAP singer jokingly tweeted: ‘So it’s Episode 1 and I’m at Paris Fashion week shutting it down! I turn around and there stands YOU.

‘Ok finish it off @netflix.’

The Netflix official Twitter account then changed its bio to: ‘Petition to get Cardi B to guest star in Season 4 of You!’

We’re not going to lie, we’re here for it…
